Alternative d/l on dropbox (by Bird, as I had to sit here quite a while to get that google/zip thing working) (https://www.dropbox.com/s/qvac4f29gg8jeq5/TFN%20November-20171029T054204Z-001.zip?dl=0)

A 6 round season allowing us to enjoy this new very good mod and wind down to the end of the year with a roaring pre-Xmas Season.

The tracks will need Rooshooter acumen, to assist in quality/versions, the track specifics may change.

Two races per round: race 1 about 15 mins after qualifying, race 2 will be ~3 times race 1, with the starting order set by the order of race 1 fastest lap times. Race 2 will have  the "Restrictor" set dependant on race 1 positions.

Balancing the field
As above, setting the restrictor from the race 1 warm-up will allow the car/driver capabilities to be tightly aligned.

Schedule  Current track listings are not finalised, the current listing is lacking "nimble cars" advantages...

R1: Nov 09, Aosta Semi Oval Sports Chicane; 7 laps + 22 laps TBC
R2: Nov 16, Mosport Download (http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/mosport-2012.7766/), 7 laps + 20 laps
R3: Nov 23, Riverside Short Download (http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/riverside-international-raceway.9492/), 6 laps + 18 laps
R4: Nov 30, Ahvenisto Download (http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/ahvenisto.10846/),  TBA
R5: Dec 7, Mont - Tremblant Download (http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/wip-circuit-mont-tremblant.14185/), 7 laps + 20 laps
R6: Dec 14, Silverstone 1967, 7 laps + 20 laps

Points
As per the "Phil.8 system".

Track testing and car familiarisation TBA.

Just to whet your appetite...

Looks like some Thursday racing coming up on my calendar.. ;)

Be nice if the couple of bugs in the mod could be resolved though  ;)

Probably only something simple to fix. but beyond my knowledge base  :)

Great to see you DaveO, with the Tuesday night runs realising how much fun this era car is, and the early notice of these upcoming events, we should have a larger field.

Thanks GZero   1.  ACL Corvette 1969...  Brakes not working. Did some more testing today and it would seem brakes work up to 20 kph after that nothing.

                         2.  ACL Detomaso Pantera...  Rear vision mirror not working. (blacked out)

                         3. ACL  Ford Capri RS 3100...  Shadowy lines appearing on windscreen on some direction changes while driving. Tried different time and weather settings
and with and without post proc filter on, but still the same. In VR this isn't really a game breaker though, more a distraction.

                                 Cheers Dave O.

Problem 1. Fixed  ;D :) ;D   in garage ABS on by default turned it off and all good.

Capri (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6YBokXY5o8QZU5hYnAtZDBPX2s) screen fixed, I hope as the effect was so subtle. :D
Corvette is OK for me, needs more troubleshooting? ???   Turn ABS off. (ctrl+a)

An incomplete list of all the Touring cars, be they grand or not, available: 1960 to 1975

Abarth 1000
Alfa Romeo GTA & GTA-SA
AMC Javelin
BMW CSL 3.5
Camaro '68 '69 '70
Corvette '67 '69
DeTomaso Pantera
Ferrari 365GTB
Ford Capri RS3100
Ford Escort RS1600
Ford Escort Mark II
Ford Boss Mustang '69
The 'General Lee'
Honda R800 RSC
Lancia Fulvia 1.6HF & Special
Nissan GT-R 2000 (1971)
Porsche RSR 74
Porsche Carrera RSR 3.0
Shelby Daytona
Lotus Cortina MkI
Mercury Cougar '68
Opel Commodore
Plymouth Cuda '71
Pontiac Firebird '70
Nissan Fairlady Z
R8 Gordini

Some of those are in the 'AC Legends' pack so I could repackage those with fixes and slowly add extra cars when ready. We can just suck it and see how many candidates make it to Novembers Season. ???
I'll derive the physics from the said mod, hoping that no car 'sticks out'. So that they all become fun to run together.

@Phil.8 @Bruce
I'm had a thought that if I made every car weigh 100kg less than it should then the server could be set so all cars start with 100kg of ballast, that way if a car proves simply too slow it can have some weight taken off it. ???

2. Which cars are "worth" including.

All the cars are great, drive nicely and sound cool (except for the BMW which sounds just as much like a sewing machine as it did in GTL). The Daytona is LOUD. It should be a great season.
I couldn't drive the Porsche Carrera though - I got lots of errors about missing kn5 files.

Wally, read the readme file.

You have to copy some files from the Porsche DLC Pack.

Love al the cars I've tried. They all handle and sound different. Should be a great Season (or two)

I've done a handful of laps in each car at Riverside Short until I could put in consistent laps. Only changed gears and tyre pressures from default setups. Here are my times:

BMW CSL 1:25.5
Capri 1:25.5
Daytona 1:25.7
Pantera 1:25.9
Ferrari 365 1:26.2
Nissan GT-R 1:26.4
Porsche 906 1:26.8
Porsche RSR 1:27.7
Corvette 69 1:28.2
Corvette 67 1:28.9

Thanks Wally, shows there is some inbuilt handicapping available if the faster drivers are happy driving the slower cars. One problem I can see is car selection for the server, I think every driver will need to nominate a car/cars that they will drive, to avoid a nightmare for Phil in setting up the server.
I am still very impressed at how good this MOD is :) :) :).

GTR, CAPRI, DAYTONA 1.26.xx, probably the easiest cars to drive.
Ferrari 1.27.xx, sounds faster than it is.
RSR74 1.29, felt like it wanted turn around and drive the other way.
Gave up on the 69 vett

It wasn't that bad really, just my excuse for not taking the one I'd feel the fastest in. Don't care about winning, just don't want to be left behind either, so I'll drive the Capri. Sounds like the Escort, simple set-up and will help me be consistent...because I need help with that lol

Apologies for my tardiness and for not fulfilling anywhere near the amount of cars I said were possible, but here is the latest available cars for the Novembers series.
Cars without a + in the name should be mismatch free fixes for said cars.
Cars with a + in the name are added and/or fixed version of cars converted by SmallblockHero and Bazza but, include changes that will cause a mismatch.
Any other car is a Mod from G0D.

Any further updates I'll let everyone know and the changes will be in the linked folder.
Everyone please download THIS (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B6YBokXY5o8QSE9EUndKNFdHS1U?usp=sharing) folder, which contains everything above.

Server Master, please update the server with the above content, nix the Ferrari as it should be replaced by my + version( the original suffered from typos in the Tyre file so fixing it was a must )
Suggestion, nix the ACL Porsche and just use the Kunos one. And add this excellent (Lancia Fulvia (http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/lancia-fulvia-1-6-hf.9317/download?version=29531)) mod into the mix.

From Wikipedia;
The Giulia 1600 GTA-SA (sovralimentato English: supercharged (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supercharged)) (1967–1968) was very rare racing car, which was built only 10 copies. Car featured 1570 cc twinspark engine with two oil-driven superchargers and it could produce up to 250 PS (180 kW; 250 hp) at 7500 rpm. The GTA-SA was built for FlA Group 5 racing in Europe and it won first place overall in the Hockenheim 100 mile endurance race in 1967 in the hands of the German driver Siegfried Dau.[2] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfa_Romeo_GTA#cite_note-wrac.co.za-2)[3] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfa_Romeo_GTA#cite_note-homepage.mac.com-3) In the Netherlands, Rob Slotemaker and Nico Chiotakis also drove GTA-SA.

So in short MORE POWA!

Can't join the server for some reason, I just fall back to launcher.
No checksum message, or any kind of message, so I don't know why. :-\
I was on OK with the BMW, when I left and selected another car(cannot remember which one) I got "no available slot" and went back to online launcher screen.

I think we may have too many cars, Escort and Alfa I believe will not cut it, no matter who is driving them.

I added all of Seanus's latest files too the AC Legends pack and had no trouble joining server. I think it is becoming too complicated : we will drop entry numbers if it is not easy. No disrespect Seanus.

well, I don't have an AC Legends pack in my car directory, they are all individual directories prefixed with "ac_legends_" ???  :o

Sorry Bruce that is correct, I  was thinking of how you find them in AC car selection  :-[ :-[
Just drag and drop into Cars folder.

I'll be driving the Ferrari so don't drop that. ;D

I think the official launcher chokes on the + in the Javelin's name(I too got the no free slots with the Kunos launcher but was fine with CM) so it will become exclusive to 'Content Manager' users. :P :P :P

Somewhat in order I'd drop the Shelby, GT40, Escort, Porsche then the GTA-SA. ;)

But only if it's necessary that is, I'm not suggesting we drop anything just yet, least not a car that any member feels like driving.

I for one do not use CM and I am sure there are others, I think we need to drop the "+" cars, if it is too hard to join server it will be a failure of a season :'( :'( :'(. We just need basic AC legends pack with your fixes Seanus ( again no disrespect , I am one of your biggest fans) .
Yes Bruce , that should work , as long as you select a car that does not give a " no available slot" error.

I think that is the best course of action Phil, people can then add the Panterra mirror fix and Capri windscreen fix if they wish to, I also was getting very confused along with some others  8) 8) 8) :)

It's not certain the + caused the problem, it may have been a coincidence, and it's a moot point anyway as I can just remove the + and reupload.
The Ferrari must be replaced with my fixed version or left out altogether as the original has typos in the tyre file.

Having said that let me say this 'There Is No Excuse To Not Use Content Manager'

I'll upload the vanilla mod to my folder, then add my fixes. That way anyone following the link in the OP can download all or some as needed. Wait for tomorrow as it'll take awhile with my upload speed.

I appreciate the efforts by everyone to produce an authentic GTA series. However, I feel it may be trying the bite off too much a casual racing night that is the intent of Thursdays. In the past we would be narrowing the list of candidate cars rather than extending.

1. We have a great set of cars in the GTA pack. More than enough cars for the max 10 drivers we get on Thursdays
2. There are extra cars produced by GzeroD that are excellent candidates for a follow-on series.
3. We perhaps should stick to just the GTA mod cars leaving out the KS ones even though they are good.
4. We should select 2 - 3 cars that allow faster drivers to be slightly handicapped and give a boost for those of us at the back of the field.
5. With only 2-3 cars there can be some setups produced for those drivers who can only “drop in” on race night without any practice.

So I am suggesting we save some of the cars for follow on series.

Upload done. Please redownload and check the contents first as I suggest deleting any corresponding folders in your install to prevent orphan files messing thing up.

@Bruce @Phil.8 et al Perhaps we should start a new thread where we can thrash out next or any future seasons cars, thus giving us the lead time and some testing time before too many confusions set in.

If you could join the server before just add the" Javalin plus and the Ferrari 365" both of which now seem to be hotted up versions of same  :o

Several people had selected the Porsche 911 rsr 3.0 I think we should leave it in, the Alfa's power to weight is 3.8kg/bhp rest of cars are 2.5kg to 3.0kg/bhp, it is outclassed by a big margin.

Thanks Phil for all your stuffing around, you must be over this by now  ::) ::)

;D Took my chance to cheat and gave the Ferrari 900hp ;D
No, the Ferrari needed some typos fixed in the tyre file and a handful of cosmetic changes so should be exactly as ACL designed.
A few liberties where taken with the Javelin to bring its power/weight ratio to an equal footing.

All the 'Muscle' cars available will make a good future season either as SCCA historic like physics or 'Muscle Car Masters' like physics.

lol Seanus, the Ferrari just seemed faster , I only did one lap in it. The ACL Javelin is faster I could do a 1.27 in it and I see Bacchulum can only manage a 1.29 in Jav plus, the thing about power is, if you can't get it too the road it makes no difference.

You can just add the shared folder "TFN November"" to your Google Drive and it will sync it all to your PC and you can then just copy out of your Google Drive to the assettocorsa\content\cars folder. No zipping.
