After our last two seasons in open wheelers then road cars, it's time for another GT season. I've picked the 3 most popular options from the "Future Season Ideas" poll.

All options would feature a mix of round formats of 1 hour long races with 2 pitstops, and 2 half hour races with 1 pitstop each, in typical GT2 or GT fashion.

GT2 - Ferrari 458 GT2, BMW M3 GT2, Corvette C7R
No ABS or TC, featuring BOP ballast. Pick a car and keep it for the season.

GT4 - Single make, Maserati GranTurismo MC GT4
This car already has no TC or ABS. The car is included in the Red Pack DLC.

GT4 - Single make, Lotus 2 Eleven GT4
No ABS or TC (if it isn't already the case!)

Multi make series do make it interesting when different cars have strengths and weaknesses.

I do miss the historics in GT Legends/rFactor, a mixed, diverse field where you purchase power allow some fantastic racing fellows.

Great fun racing in the Escort at Silverstone, especially liked the opening laps of race three until I found a grass edge!

The BMW/Ferrari/Corvette feels the same as all the other GT cars we've driven before so I voted for the other two.

Gt4 class is pretty much street cars on slicks, at least without ABS and TC in the gt2 cars it makes them more fun to drive the the gt3 cars we drove. Actually the one car we forgot about is the scg p45 but its stuck in the middle of gt2 and gt3 so likely would be hard to balance out with the other 3.

But the GT4's are so gutless it might as well be another street car season.

The Maserati, with no ABS or TC, moves around a bit when you push it, and is quite fun to drive. It only has hard tyres, if I remember correctly.

It's to make them a little more error prone, so there's more chance of mistakes and catching up etc. The Maserati doesn't have any ABS or TC by default (I'm pretty sure).

As Wally said the Maserati has no aids on factory settings, the gt2 cars I think have fairly different levels of factory aids between them. I dont think any of them have ABS but TC in the bmw is very basic and much more advanced in the ferrari, I dont know what the c7 has but other then making them a bit more of a challenge to drive taking off aids balances them all out a bit better too.
