Wish I could move the seat

+/-

I'm underwhelmed at the moment. The FFB feels pretty dead and lifeless on my T500RS, just a lot of spring. I'll have to fiddle with settings.

To move the seat other than +/-, do this to get more apps at the side:

"You must enable dev apps. To do that, open your system/cfg/assetto_corsa.ini and set ENABLE_DEV_APPS=1 then you'll find some new apps in the Apps Bar."

Actually, there's a wealth of real time setup telemetry in those dev apps. You could go nuts looking at all these numbers when developing a car setup.

I was having a lot of fun with the BMW 30. For me, I had to turn the FFB gain down a lot to avoid excessive clipping which was just washing out all the FFB.

fantastic!. The FF is a bit too subtle I think coming from nkp but otherwise great.
tip for triple screen users: hit F11 to get off full-screen mode if you get a gray screen after loading...

Its a good tip took me awhile to figure that one out... lotus @ Monza is great fun down to a 1:30.2 ... so far so good for AC to meet my expectations at least! Fingers crossed for the netcode.

Hey Guys, does anybody know if there is a 'Rank' app or Rank website for AC? While we are waiting for some real racing at least chasing Rank times might be fun.

I don't think there's ranking - it'd require the times to be reported in some way, and that requires an online part.
But we can always start a thread, if somebody wants to pick it up, and keep a list - it'd be honesty-based, but still workable.  Just needs time from someone to compile individual posts into a list.

Or we could go by screenshots.

And by the by, I think the time attack separates the men from the boys, it requires speed & consistency!
We could share it like this:
and by the way, you guys MUST try this combo, the Formula Abarth at Vallelunga - recommended by Speed on the arse forums, great fun combo!

btw Dion, I can strongly recommend driving the lotus type 49 around a bit - maybe even Vallelunga (great track this one!)
It teaches you not to downshift early pretty damn well :)

Intriguing quote from one of the devs on the forums:

In AC it is "easy" to go closer to the limit, but it is very very difficult to find the last 3-4 tenths.

The above statement also connects to the "lack of depth" from Adrian. IMHO, and please excuse me if I might sound arrogant I'm not but probably I'm not expressing this correctly in english, but IMHO you are all still scratching the surface. There are many things to be discovered in AC in terms of what the sim does and how it handles. You'll see much more depth when you will start to try to go faster and faster. Don't get fooled that you simply are not spinning when trying to go as fast as you think you can now.
