Yeah I was thinking the same thing Gratulin, also for those at the end of pit lane who would complete another lap just getting to their pit box.

For someone who may have an "incident", either self-inflicted or by another party, that type of racer would need an interface to so, "Swap y/n"? button thingy (sorry tech speak).

Do you means if someone in the team wrecks their car?  I think that would just be bad luck and limp around or quit.

Yeah, can issue a pit warning. I think an app can tell how many laps there are in a race session.

That's why I suggested driver 1 do 18 laps out of a 20 lap race, to avoid these kinds of "overrun" scenarios.
