This was the BTCC Mod we were considering for Best Of British series. I found the cars would oversteer suddenly with no chance to catch the spin. Was it just me? Would be good for others to test.

Can't say I had that problem myself but I think I have only driven the Toyota and the Honda and neither extensively.

I have tested all cars and done a few races against AI and I think this mod is very good, and not being a big fan of single car grids
maybe we should reconsider it for the next season. It could also be used with fixed setups with few complaints as the the default setup is
very driveable. The download location requires you to register before you can download.

PS. Gratulin set " slip effect" to 150 in advanced FFB controls and see if that makes a difference in being able to catch
the back end.

Thanks. I'll give that a go. But that sort of hides the physics a bit don't you think?

No ,I think it has been included in the FFB settings for a reason, some cars have delay in conveying movement of the rear of the car to
the FFB.

I also noticed Gawaterman was looking forward to the Escort season (of which I am also a fan) maybe with some ballast we could combine
the two mods.

If this season works well then we could do a follow-up season with the BTCC Mod using the same track list. "EMPIRE STRIKES BACK" springs to mind as a possible season title...

PS. for those who weren't around back then that is the BRITISH EMPIRE I'm talking about  8)

They are a bit different from rF2 but I like them after getting used to them. There's a server up called TZ_BTCC that is cycling Silverstone National/Donington National and Brands GP. I'm going to jump on for a night of something different in an hour and a half or so if anyone's up for it. Off to the neighbours for dinner first. ;) ;D
