I was able to put in fairly consistent laps (in fact, the most consistent) and avoid any incidents. I had nowhere near the pace of the chicken eater. Second was a good result though.

I had been practicing "less is more" and found that it takes a bit of remembering when down the list on times!  Avoiding anything "large" in the way of incidents saw me at 3rd once until a little moment, and home in 5th... noice!

The irony of the track change due to the pit limit, only <14 arrived for the race! (May have to slip it back in if numbers permit... another fun Mini track!).

Pleased to see SlicedPuma making it along for the Thursdays...
Lets hope with the promise of seeing a "Chicken eating GB" more may turn up for subsequent races :)

I thought it was a pretty good turn-out.
Enjoyed that track.  I'd like to try it with a real car (sorry Mini lovers).  I love tracks with fast cambered corners.
I managed to get myself a penalty which was fun.  I came screaming in not knowing where the pit limit line was and when i crossed it my tyres locked up and sent me into the tyre walls, lol.  I learned the track some more as I raced around it and had a few nice little battles with Krahl who was quick around here.

When I was talking about "less is more", it's easy to hammer the throttle in these FWD cars and let the front tyres spin up as you don't really lose any control, but just like a RWD car, if a tyre is spinning you are loosing traction and pace (unless for the purposes of rotating the car).  So even though you can hammer the throttle and keep a straight line, it's quicker to be careful of losing traction at the front.  If that makes sense.

I understood, it was good advice, I dropped my times and saved the tires, they were predicable until lap 16.
