Standard M3 E30. A great fun car.

A server is up with a few cars selected from the Thursday's garage on the "Brabham" version of the track...
Jumped on last night and along with Gratulin, cut the first lap very short by missing the "Brabham" section!
Lap 2 incorporating the new section, I thought" what an complication...
by lap 3 getting some rhythm through the the 'squiggly' bits found it a fantastic addition to a great curcuit that we have used for years here...

We will use this this Thursday, both layouts, in the MIni Step 2 (and possibly another, need to do some checking).

But certainly didn't find any problems in the short stint on the server, with several run offs in the first laps :)

Flattop, I found the steering of the Mini a bit artificial. Could have just been my setup. It seemed to fight the FFB just to simulate the torque steer of the FWD. I reduced the FFB gain to 65% which helped a bit. Wondering what others are experiencing with the mini? The Abarth and Alfa don't feel like this.

Track is pretty good just needs the kerbs to be redone to match the saw tooth kerbs of the real traco and not the big box ramps they are atm. From the mini race I prefered the brabham layout over the regular gp one. The next version is supposed to have 4 layouts and hopefully also some way of seperating then so people know which one they are meant to be on.

I preferred the normal GP layout.  The Brabham one was a bit slow and stop-start in the wiggly bit and the two tight hairpins.  Agree about the curbs though.  They are crap.  The rest is good.  Could do with some 3D grass though... I love a bit of grass.

I didn't mind the kerbs, actually. You could ride them a bit, get a bit airborne, but not be too careless. Livened the track up a bit. The hairpins might be more fun in a RWD car.

I have only done a couple of laps on each of the new circuits at Eastern Creek, (and at the moment don't have time to reinstall the version we used last Thursday), but the turn common on the older version and the new circuits, appear to have been 'lessened', they do not appear to be as severe in the latest release.
