TC and ABS will be off on the server I assume? As Bird said, the server is set to only allow ”factory” TC and ABS. 9303

There is a bit of variability in the fuel usage, so there's already a range of distances that each car can go. Most stops would be around about half way, but they won't all be exactly half way. You'll still have some choice about whether to pit earlier or later, which can be useful to either make use of clear track while you've got it, or get out of traffic. E.g. at Imola, the laps you can get out of one tank vary from 13 to 20 between the cars.
I'll just leave tyre wear normal, to give people more strategic tyre options. 9304

Yeah, I saw that. In my testing, the Merc had significantly better mileage than the other cars. Hopefully that's brought it more in line with the other cars. The 458 was already much the same as the other cars. The 599x and Evora GX are still fuel misers though. 9306

It seems that others have had the same problem since 1.06 came out. There might be some ideas for solutions there. 9307

It's not "a little silly". I chose, and tested in all cars, that fuel rate to ensure that all cars will have to stop once, without some of the cars having to stop twice and being unfairly disadvantaged. The nature of all the tyres is that even when they have worn to their maximum, the cars are still quite drivable, as Simone attested to using the super softs. You lose a little lap time, you have to drive more carefully, simulating what drivers have to grapple with with worn rubber, and everyone will be in the same boat.
I agreed before that leaving tyre wear at 100% gives people more strategic tyre choices. But the fuel is 3x so all cars only have to stop once. 9308

And to echo Bird's sentiments, it really is good racing experience. Try it at least once. Pitstops spice things up a bit, strategy wise.
Hopefully one day we'll have rain and night racing to play with as well, for even more variety. 9310

I still want people to sign up even if the grid appears full, to gauge interest and numbers.

Fair point Marty. I was aiming for people having to put up with worn tyres at the end of a stint too, but we may still get that at the end of the race if people run the whole 45 mins on one set. It does give people that strategic choice.

Based on tonight's tryout races, I took everyone's best time in the Cobra (over both qual and race sessions), took their best 458 time, and averaged the two. Based on that, I have the following XGN team of 12, who'll be racing against ARSE next week:
Marty EdWood Matthew111 Aiman Bird Simone Krahl Wally Weeman Gratulin Dave O Phil Congratulations to those who'll represent XGN. Reserves Fabbi Rob Insomniac Flattop Vipergod Dick Forrest 9314

I'm sure people wan't to choose their own skins, Dick skins or otherwise. Unless you wanted some team skin? Hopefully I'll get something from Norbs soon about skins, and we can put a skin pack together with team skins. 9315
