"Let's begin with a little snip of some racing rules:
O-1: To obtain right of road position in a corner, the overtaker's car must have substantial overlap of the car that is being overtaken, before they reach the corner's turn-in point. Should the overtaking car not have enough overlap, the leading car may resume its racing line without fear of contact.
This is a very important agreement for both opponents, but I am left with a question here:
Without at least a 180° FoV triple screen setup or some occulus rift - how should anybody be able to judge this? Many of us are really struggling with this. - clean - racers want to race as close and fair as possible."

Great, I've always thought something like this would be great in AC, and in real life.

Interesting idea. I need a 6 screen setup to fit all these apps.

I'm experimenting with having it directly below the F11 rear view mirror. It remains invisible until cars get within about a car length (tunable). I initially had it down low near real car dash but that position proved ineffective and obviously didn't help me avoid contact last night :(

Nice find... I'll certainly give it a run, having only one screen and still not having sorted out my l/r keys....

It's a very useful app for seeing who's in close vicinity, and pretty unobtrusive, with it disappearing altogether when no one's near. I'd recommend it.

Is it as good as the Assetto Corsa watermark app?

There's a new version (and its prettier).

Note: if you edit the settings file in the app you can increase the size of it and reduce the opacity, which I think works a bit better.

Here's a post explaining a setting change that may improve performance. Reduce the detection radius:

I've had problems getting this app to work for some time now.

Thanks Wally, you pointed me in the right direction advising looking into Documents\Assetto Corsa\logs\py_log.txt

I'm presuming there was a conflict with an older version of this app. I just had to rename/remove the
Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\apps\helicorsa.ini file and on next load it would be re-created and it's started appearing ingame correctly again.
