Sunday night Open Wheelers learning and fun.
« on: May 18, 2016, 07:35:36 PM »
I have been thinking of running a very simple 30 min practice, qual and some 5 lap races on a sunday. Just for fun and a bit of learning in the open wheelers, if poeple turn up for a drive cool, and if not cool also :)

Anyway I found my favorite track, its probably crap looking but as long as layout is ok I am happy. In iracing this track and the skip barber was awesome combo, So I am going to try the old KS lotus type 25, and okayama international raceway

http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/okayama-1994.2519/.

If the lotus turns out to be too hard to try and learn I will try the car that rolz has mentioned in his F1 post. But i really want an open wheeler with no downforce and crap tyers  :o 8)

Track is only a place holder atm

EDIT  - going to try the MX5 here because in iracing like the skippy gives very good racing here and its got no roof so it can be an open wheeler :)

Slideways if you don't get jap pack let me know and will change to a car you have or just buy it for you  :)

Although I'm not an openwheeler fan I used to regularly jump in the Skippy for some fine tuning. Shame they don't have one yet in AC (as far as I know) as they are perfect for getting rid of bad racing habits.

Hi Phil,

sorry I did not reply earlier. In general I like the idea of intro open wheelers on Sudnay. 7:30pm might be a bit too complicated for me most weekends, but I'll try to jump in a few times.

Keep the fun going! :)
