Yeah, it would have been quiet without TS :)

Bugger, just checked the replay; only 10.5 laps got recorded.   Heh, exactly the parts I wanted to see (the first 2 or so laps) aren't there :)

Apologies to Ysu for the tap in Race 1.  Race 2 was very tight with ShamefulManny chasing me for the whole race. Tyres were pretty slippery towards the end but I managed to just hang on for 3rd.
I did find the McLaren nicer than the Fezz only in that it had better brake balance so you could brake harder.
Is it just me or do all of the cars we have run so far suffer excessove understeer?  Seems as soon as you touch the accelerator it wants to push wide, something I dont imagine a real 458 or Mclaren would do (or Xbow for that matter).

It's all right, we're here for fun.  I've disabled a competitor, too, I think BJ was on the receiving end of my bumper once when he was very slow onto the back straight :D

WRT the handling: street cars might just be like that - not that I've driven any such high powered cars on the track :)
Having said that, the mclaren did not feel too bad in this regard.

We've been discussing it last time, too, that you really need to tuck these into the corners, otherwise you're done for; if you overshoot, you won't be able to get on the throttle in time.

A good night Wally, A/C is making cars that I had little interest in previously, fun to race.
The simple race results shows I have some consistency at least, even though I may be tacking a longer track than most  ::)
Small probs on my part, the 'freeze' occurring early on when a 'new car' was close to me, may have been a HDD i/o issue.  My HDD needs cleaning and has been displaying 'slower' load up.  I hope it isn't an omen!
Not sure what was happening to Jeff's 'presence' early on, I hadn't noticed your car was close, no answer there.

I remember someone saying in practice, "There will be no overtaking here..." but I did overtake Glen73 on the line, last lap, race 2  ;D
Enjoying it so much, I might save up for a grunty monitor and card! (And maybe wheel, and .... )

Get an SSD, Bruce.   It's very affordable now. (~50c/GB)

Get a SSD 1st! You will be very happy.
My computer was a slow mushy piece of crap a few weeks ago. Then I spent $99 on a 120gig SSD. It's like a new computer.

I've even given you a link - you can change the size there. :)
Get either one of Intel, Samsung, or Crucial (the one in the link),  steer way clear of ocz, there are serious reliability issues around that one.  These three are definitely good.

The price/performance ratio sweet spot it seems is the one I've linked in for you.  Plus it's a good size so you don't need to keep a data drive for normal usage.
