Hi, I think I have captured all the current mods of real-life tracks in Assetto Corsa. If I've missed one please post reply here. Thanks,

Pretty sure Nords is real, though we should get the real real one soon but the current nearly real real one is pretty darn good.

Also Baskerville next version should be up there with the best of the mod tracks I think. Pretty good to race on already just needs a bit more polish and the progress shots look great.

We'll see I guess...on videos, it never looks that narrow. :)

What about that eastern European street circuit? Mesilnuk, or something. I quite enjoyed that track.

Solitude 1964 has been released in Beta form.

Next to Nords this was my favourite track in GPL. Track side objects are pretty rubbish at present, but if you can notice that, then you aren't driving fast enough. They have Historic Revival meeting there so presumably the track layout should be fairly accurate.

I can't believe that they used to race motorbikes there.

Just a hoot to drive in the Lotus 49.

Nice phrasing Rob, and your up early, still opening pressies?

Thanks, will put it up on the server for some laps.

lol. AC the present that just keeps on giving.

Bruce, Solitude is not for the feint hearted, and will probably need a few practice laps for anybody who has not raced there before. Probably not be a good candidate for a public server at present.

Just in case anybody else was disappointed with the sound of the Lotus 49 in the V1 release, I have replaced them with the sounds from the McLaren m23 (http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/mclaren-m23-1973.12254/). A distinct improvement until something better comes along.

Just copy the McLaren_m23.bank file and GUIDs.txt file from the McLaren sfx folder to the sfx folder of the 49. Change the name of the McLaren_23.bank file to Lotus_49 and change every reference to the McL in the GUID file to Lotus_49 and you are good to go.

I liked what they did to the '49 sounds.

Server is up with the Lotus 49 (and of course the new Cobra Competition).

fantastic track just had time to do an out lap one lap (with only 1 accident!) for a 4:00.86, scary, how many bingles were there when it was used?
