We will provide a link to the tracks via "dropbox" getting closer to the event. 《----- DONE

Never too late to celebrate the 300 SLR.  Intro round is good old Goodwood Revival track, slippery, but fun, especially power sliding into the last couple of turns before the chicane on the home straight.
Lienz GP provides some interesting elevations, even if the braking entering town leaves a lot to be desired... respect all round needed here.
Then on to the longer events, that the Germans have plenty of these tracks to choose from, but the enduro around Liepzig town circuit is great fun, with some fast sections and then some flowing tighter sections.

Glad you asked, I had a thought last night...

First Thoughts: '55 Proto A1 or '63 GTTC A2

Second Thoughts:
Subsequent Rounds:
  • If you had a podium on the previous round you can only use : '55 Proto A1 or '63 GTTC A2
  • Else you can opt to use a '56 GTTC A3

This is in the "thought can" at the present will road test both cars again and check the on track differences...

I would will be practicing in the '55 Proto A1  ;D

Track pack is ready Mercedes-March Track Pack and has been installed on the server.
All tracks are currently on the server and you can at least check a track against your install for confidence.  I will do a little testing re: car diffs again, but will put the server to Goodwood asap.

Did a few laps in both the Proto and the Hardtop, the more powerful once didn't give too much advantage in the short sessions I did.  Probably due to the fact the brakes are really really bad :)

Hot Laps Replay for both model Mercedes.

I have just finished cutting some laps in all the cars... The protoA1 seems to be the standout car around Leipziger.

Yes none of them have brakes!!!!!

LOL...

Well i have just spent 45 minutes trying out the 3 cars around goodwood. The proto A1 is definitely the fastest, but it is so easy to step a little wide and loose a lot of time, it will be interesting to see which strategy works out for race wins... a slower car that will consistently do easy laps or a faster car that is on the ragged edge...... I think i'll be on the ragged edge as it is a fun car to drive....
Cheers

Atta boy!  ;D
Even though the stats say it is "mid" it does out perform the others.  And it will be interesting once we move into the longer races the latter half of the month...

decisions. decisions!

Kept asking pit crew to check the brakes to no avail.
Gave up! Now I just shift down like crazy onto rev limiter.

I like the roof. Seems to reduce some of the terrible noises the car makes ;)
