I was just too aggressive after Joe's glorious move...you're a hero...

Thanks. I try my best.

... I didn't touch you, you hit the wall on your own and bounced off me...

No, you need an attitude adjustment. No need to make fun. You f'd up my race...and there's no apology either.

What a nice smart ar* comment...easy to say in hindsight. You realise we're on cold tyres? If you want a clear track you've got to qualify first. I had to assume that you drive fairly and leave me space. By the time I realised you won't do that it was too late...hitting the brakes then doesn't make a difference.

I don't think you get my humor, but if you think I'm being a smart arse perhaps there was more malice to you calling me a hero than I first thought.

Yes you out-qualified me, and yes I admitted from the start it was my fault and apologized. Having Wally there was frustrating as it had me off line and off pace, and the car wouldn't turn in, I moved across far more than I intended, breaking Wally's rules so I take the penalty. However, looking at the replay from a couple of angles I do think you could have avoided that if you weren't so adamant on keeping the position. I was never going to try and fight you; I only needed 2nd to start at the front in the main race.
Nah...no jokes needed...and what you've done was crap, rather than heroic...so there was a lot of sarcasm in my previous comment. I was pretty pissed off last night. Does that surprise you? I mean I qualified well and wanted to win this race of course...it is a race in the end, isn't it? It's very hard to overtake there...got stuck behind Freezer although I was a lot faster...

The way I saw it, you did run wide and squeeze killa into the wall. See the results section.

Yeah I don't disagree I went wider than anticipated as the car just wouldn't turn, but if I was killa I would have backed out of that rather that drive myself into a wall. I blame you Wally for being out of position  ;D

Sorry to Freezer for the nudges...and to Brad for this silly thing. I was just too aggressive after Joe's glorious move...you're a hero...it was better to quit. I'm done...have fun.

Hmm...2nd again, which is actually pretty good considering my driving skills, or, better, lack thereof...but...I mean, I f it up here and there, whereas Bueller just refuses doing that  ;)
I was on a 1:31.7 when getting close to Freezer in qualy. Thanks mate for letting me pass  :)...yeah, but I lost some time there. However, it turned out to be still my fastest lap.
Bueller is always starting better than me, so it wouldn't have made a difference anyway I guess.
First turn was a bit messy, but I somehow made it through staying in second position.
In the last two races I was able to slowly getting closer to Bueller...until I screwed it up, but this time it was different...sort of raced 2sec behind him...no major mistakes this time though.
Cheers

Congrats on this great qualy and race of yours, Bueller. I got closer and closer during the race...until I overdid it going onto the start-finish straight. Well, a bit of aero damage, but still ok to drive.
Fun racing these boats on wheels  ;)
Thanks

@killagorilla, at the start of the ute race, my PC froze for a fraction of a second, and I bounced off the car to my right when it came good.

Oh, that's bad luck. Yeah, sorry, I think it was actually AGK next to me going side-by-side through a number of turns at the start. I was on the outside and thought, 'ooh, that's gonna be drama', but it wasn't...perfectly clean racing. Again, I find grip is very low with cold tyres at the start.

Wow! That went a lot better than expected. Forgot to turn on crew chief so the start was difficult with I think Wally next to me, but it was great close racing. Thanks for not shooting me off, Wally...keeping these guys under control with cold tyres is not easy  :).
Qualy could have been better...bad luck with traffic. Well, lucky Joe made a little mistake then...passing him would otherwise most likely not have worked.
A very rare win...whoohoo!!!  :)

Not having done any laps in these cars before last week's fun runs I've done a number of laps at Watkins Glen the day after, on Wednesday. FFB is very strong in the utes so I reduced it 4 or 5 times in steps...and it's still too high. So I developed early stages of a tennis arm...awesome. I had to do some practice for Monza in the GT3, then yesterday's 90min race...yeah, havent done a single lap at Road America. I've got the pain under control it seems, but racing 3 cars a week and doing practice as well is too much atm.
GT3's are priority as they are just the most fun to drive. So my thinking is doing a few laps in the ute there at Road America and then do only the 20min race tonight...see how we go with that. It takes time to work out setup and braking points in the v8's and I don't like working that out during qualy...leads to crappy results and possibly accidents as well.

2 x Holden please  :)

It's WIP there with SRM, but Simon there hasn't been able to get this working yet...no ETA...
I wouldn't mind having a few more buttons on my wheel, so looking at replacing my current one...it's a bit silly actually...see what happens.

88
Not sure, is there a forum for your brand wheel base, surely someone else has looked into it.
Thanks mate  :). Yes, there are forums...good idea. I think getting in touch with SRM (which manufactures conversion kits for Clubsport wheels) may help as well.
