Round 2 you can always use the official red bull ring instead of the codies ripped track as the red pack should hit hefore then. If the Kunos track has a South Course layout included then it is the choice. Otherwise I think the drag up the hill is a bit boring in the MTX. What do people think? Is the full Redbull circuit worth trying? If so, it should be round one track Logged Gratulin Moderator Hero Member Posts: 2159 Karma: 44 Re: Season 5 Metalex to the Max! « Reply #8 on: July 06, 2016, 12:14:21 PM » If I'm not mistaken this shows the shortcut for the South Course layout. Is the full Redbull circuit worth trying? If so, it should be round one trackFairly sure I have seen it confirmed as having both layouts, but also for slower cars and better racing there is noting like a good drag up the hill. It makes drafting very likely and spices up the racing, if you only run very short tracks then it will make passing the same as a faster car at a big track. I think the vallelunga short track is pretty crappy too and you guys may want to try the other new layout as this will make passing much more likely.I remember we had a race in the Abarth 500's at Vallelunga club and it was impossible to pass, in these cars it wont be any better. So you can choose tracks that will be a single file procession or some that open up a bit more and make the lead car more of a sitting duck in the draft. Its not up to me though but I still find it strange how most people always pick slow cars and short tracks and fast cars fast tracks. Even something like Monza 66 would be fun racing in these, everyone will be fairly close on pace and drafting would make for great racing there. Sure its a boring track on your own but thats the same in any car. I also like putting a big powerful car on a shorter track as that also opens up passing making it much more technical. The season's tracks appear to be diverse, should be fun. I do like the little car, even if it doesn't have a roof and guards Logged "I refuse to be what you call normal."
