Title: Hand control rings for sim wheel systems
Post by: Shameless_1 on July 26, 2017, 01:17:34 AM
This is what I mentioned to Wally on teamspeak. it's not cheap but for me it may be a possibility to use a wheel as I am unable to use pedals, I still won't be able to use a shifter, so as long as I can auto clutch and auto blip and use the paddles it might be worth it. I still don't have a lot of movement to turn the wheel so with the sensitivity up high I can really only turn the wheel about 45 degrees to each side. From memory it's $460 USD + Shipping for it..

Seems like a brilliant idea

Has it been tested by Alex Zanardi and Billy Monger? ???

Wow that looks like some great engineering. Can see why it costs so much, but it seems like something there should be a cheaper option for...

You could possibly use the new McLaren fanatec wheel, it has the dual clutch system but apparently can be switched to brake & gas.

I have a wireless version that has all that, but i couldn't get the sensitivity right even though the software and the game were set the same for the wheel.

Either way I don't have the disposable income to buy either the fanatec or this without testing it. If i can't use it, it's a massive expense to lose money on to resell.
