Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Fun Run Dec 6 - Multiclass Racing« on: November 30, 2016, 08:19:40 PM »
Let's try multiclass racing.
2 x 15 laps at Silverstone 1967, using the OSRW PIT MOD for 36 pit boxes. Cars - Class 1 Porsche 962 C Long Tail Porsche 911 GT1-98 Porsche 962 C Short Tail Cars - Class 2 Alfa Romeo 155 TI V6 Mercedes-Benz 190E EVO II BMW M3 E30 Gr.A 92 Class 1 cars will have to do 1 compulsory pit stop where tyres must be changed (no pit window). Class 2 cars don't have to pit. This is to mix up the track position of cars in both classes. Class 2 cars will be lapped about 3 times. I want to have pretty much an even number of drivers in each class (as tempting as the class 1 cars are!). You'll get a chance to drive the other class in race 2. 726
Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Poll: Season 15 Cars« on: November 30, 2016, 08:02:57 PM »
Choose one or more cars that you would like to drive in season 15. The poll will be open for all of December.
Ferrari F138 Ferrari's 2013 V8 Formula 1 car. Fast, fast, fast. Loads of setup options, but fairly easy to drive out of the box. Features technology like DRS and KERS. Tatuus Formula Abarth FA01 A mid-range open wheeler, aimed at karting graduates. Very stable, lots of downforce, easy to drive. Doesn't move about much. We drove this car way back in season 2 (August 2014). Praga R1 The Praga R1 is a full-carbon track car designed around a composite monocoque. The slowest of the three options, but moves about more than the Formula Abarth. Category Rules Here are the rules I'd consider for the three options, based on real life series, which might influence your vote: F138 One long race per round (45/50/60 mins)? No refuelling. Out of all of the tyre compounds, each race will have 2 compounds nominated that you must use (although you can use others as well) - this implies 1 mandatory pit stop, but you can do more. Top 10 qualifiers have to start the race on the same compound that they set their qualifying time with. Formula Abarth 3 x sprints of varying lengths. No pit stops. Qualify for races 1 and 2; race 3 is in race 2 finish order with top 6 reversed. 1 bonus point for getting pole for races 1 & 2; 1 bonus point for fastest lap in each race. Praga R1 2 x 30 min races with qually for both. 1 bonus point for getting pole; 1 bonus point for fastest lap in each race. 1 mandatory pit stop for tyres. No refuelling. Handicap seconds time delay added to the pit stops for leaders:

RACE RESULTS AND CHARTS
SEASON STANDINGS SEASON STATS ALL TIME STATS Penalties Race 1 - penalty for Jeremy for hitting my rear corner on an inside pass. I was on the racing line and Jeremy tried to pass on the inside but ran into me while he was braking, with insufficient overlap to call it a pass. Then Jeremy drove straight across the track into Bacchulum and also Vipergod, which was two unsafe re-entries. Penalty is a 2 point penalty (the difference between 5th, where I qualified, and 6th place in the qualifying race). Earlier, Mael had a slide and nearly a tank slapper, which caught quite a few people out mid-corner. That was just a racing accident.. Round Points Marty 78 Matthew111 67 Phil.8 66 Shayne 54 Keith 46 Freezer 38 Joe 36 Jeremy 34 Wally 23 Mael 22 Bacchulum 19 Seanus 13 Doobs 11 AJ 11 Rob 7 nith 5 Dave O 5 Vipergod 3 Congratulations to Phil on pole, and Marty on the two race wins as well as the round win. Final Season Podium Congratulations to the season podium, and season champion, Marty.1. Marty, 485 2. Phil, 418 3. Grat, 346 Team Standings Achilles Heels (Guybrush and Marty) won the team championship from DA Racing (Grat and Wally), 719 points to 574. Krahl Racing (Phil and Joe), came 3rd with 553 points. 728

This is the final round!
Marty has a healthy lead in the standings and is unlikely to be overtaken. DA Racing has a faint glimmer of hope for the team championship if Grat and I have a really good round. 2 x 16 lap sprints at Barcelona Moto, with 1 compulsory pit stop for tyres (no refuelling allowed). You will need to download the OSRW Pit Mod. Fuel is 1x. Tyre wear is 2x. Weather is: Race 1 - 20, light clouds, light rain (85% grip) Race 2 - 24, mid clear (dry) 731

RACE RESULTS AND CHARTS
SEASON STANDINGS SEASON STATS ALL TIME STATS Penalties Race 2, Grat moved across from his side of the track at turn 1, clipping Nith who was on his own side of the track and had overlap. Even though Marty wasn't hit, he was significantly impeded when he slowed to avoid a collision with Grat. Grat gets a 50 kg penalty next race for not following the "stick to your side of the track on the first 2 corners" rule. Simone ran into the back of Joe, so gets a 50kg penalty next race. In the Bacchulum/Simone collision, Bacchulum moved across to the apex of the fast right sweeper, with his rear just clipping Simone's nose. It looks like Bacchulum couldn't see Simone, and Simone had no chance to avoid contact, so no penalty. Round Points Phil.8 76 Marty 73 Jeremy 57 nith 54 hylas 42 Freezer 42 M8R 36 Grat 27 Keith 27 Seanus 22 Mael 20 Wally 19 Doobs 13 Bafs17 9 stevenngo 7 Bacchulum 5 Simone 5 Dave O 4 AJ 3 Joe 1 Vipergod 1 Congratulations to Phil on pole, race 2 win and the overall round win and to Marty for the race 1 win. Season Podium 1. Marty, 350 2. Grat, 283 3. Phil, 282 (up from 4th) Nith was the big mover on the season table, jumping 4 places up to 9th.
