That was the raw data that makes up the server list. I now have a raw program that can get the list of all the servers, and spit out this crude output, for example. I have all the info about current session, cars, pickup, password etc. I'll have to see if I can get the player names too. Should be able to, because the game can.

Wally, given your mega-coding super powers, would it be at all possible to create a website or phone app which would allow you to look at the server list for AC?  Perhaps even set alerts or something when there were a certain number of people on a server, etc.?
It must be possible. The game already can read that information in order to populate the lobby. You must be able to connect to the central server and query its server list.

Pass. Next question :)

The abarth can give good side by side racing in a pack, but if you fall behind, it's really hard to catch up. We'll see how the fun race goes.

Hi Nick. As long as you're slower than Guybrush, welcome :)
I've sent you a PM.

I was going to ask you about this, because it sounded pretty good.

Are we talking stuttering or warping though, in regards to Python apps? Stuttering I could believe, being client-side, but warping? You'd think that would be due to packet loss or something network related.

It's worth an experiment though. For the trial races, we could turn PLP off as well.

The zonda is a fun car to drive only reason I went for the slow ass abarth 500 is for something different. The Zonda is very similar to the cars we just raced.

Regarding 100% damage I dont see why we dont use b it. At the lower level I still managed to get bent suspension in a few races this season. I run 100% damage on all my other servers too and it doesnt make so much difference.

The scary thing for me at 100% is more the gearbox damage with an H shifter. I might do some more damage testing. Shattered windscreens on rear impacts are pretty annoying too. It was more those two aspects which lead me to reduce the damage.

8022
i voted for a zonda Zeason,2 pit stops.,,,,,,, where the hell are the slow guys????  This group is pretty close!!!
I think people want a change from the fast cars we've been driving this season.

8023
Yeah, you had some really good pace Bird.  I was struggling to pull away from you.  I was on 3 warnings from PLP and was trying to get a 10 second gap to you (I think this is the penalty?).
Yep, 10 seconds.

This is the first of 3 season 8 car trials, the idea being to try the three front-running combos in the poll and then allow people to adjust their votes if they want. They'll all be at Vallelunga.

Abarth 500 EsseEsse S1 at Vallelunga Club (20 laps), then at Vallelunga (10 laps, reverse top 10 from qual 1).
Normal tyre wear and fuel.
Qual at 8:00 Eastern.

It was a clean race for me. I kept up with the lead pack for a little while, behind Stan for a while, but couldn't keep up. I was going to do two long stints, but midway through my second stint, Guybrush came out from a stop behind me. Guybrush hassling me on fresher tyres? No thanks. So I got to about 13 laps from the end and then pitted early for a full tank run home. A bit later, Jeremy and Matthew caught up and made clean passes, helped by me undesteering wide a bit.

Thanks to lapped racers for making it easy to pass them.

That right hander at the bottom of the hill is one of the great racing corners.
