And that's still with decent aero, as you need a bit to keep it on the track over the bumps.
And I figured it's got the power to push the drag. 8)

(might see what I can do sober, today)
You have got to be joking ;D ;D ;D   I used to love driving "half charged" I am sure I was quicker than being sober, to have any chance now I have to be completely sober :'( :'( :'(.

so finding both our 2 permanent closed circuits......
I've got Symmons Plains but what's the other one?
Yeah, what is the other one, I can't think of a 2nd track in Tasmania. ???
Where I caught up with Phil, and sadly  Bruce could not make it.

Quote from GTPlanet, nice to know.

I love Longford. It's sad that you can't drive the entire circuit anymore, since the bridges are all long gone and a major highway was plonked right on top of one of the best parts of the circuit (viaduct). Fair to say I was totally blown away when I found out the old Longford circuit was available for AC. Being a Tasmanian, it's easy to get used to the rest of the world not knowing a thing about this place, so finding both our 2 permanent closed circuits, and our greatest ever historic street circuit, have all been made for racing sims, is a pleasant surprise :). My 77 year old father had a gigantic grin on his face when he saw me driving old Brabhams and such at Longford. He said it's exactly how he remembers it, so that's mighty high praise for whoever made the track.

where do I get the cars from,  been busy this week and not seen anything on these cars yet
I have most of the cars Phil, but I am not sure where I got them from :-[ Spa 66 has 32 grid spots but I still think we should slim down the selection of cars to give a BoP for ease of handicapping. Seanus/Bacchulum do you have any preferences of what should be included and can they be put into one package?
Spa 66 looks amazing , but the lap time in one of these CanAm cars is still 3m30s.

Congratulations Bacchulum, Wally and Phil.  Nice words Bacchulum glad to hear you are still a racing driver at heart with plenty of fight left in you ;D ;D. It was a good season and a fitting tribute to Flattop Bruce, thanks Phil and all the other  drivers who took part.

Very neat, amazing technology for the price. Is it very hard to program to achieve the end result that you want?

Interserie race at Spa 1966 (see AC Track ReBoot site)

Group 7

Lola T260                  1971
Lola T260 mid wing
McLaren M8c             1969
McLaren M8c high wing
Nissan R382             1969
Porsche 917/10        1972
Porsche 917/30        1973

Race could be sometime in 1975 or 1976 where the private owners of the above cars have upgraded for performance or down tuned for reliability of each car.
Looks good to me , lets go with this one for the 15/02/18 to allow enough time for everyone to be ready.

As a gesture of thanks , I would like to give Phil first choice for the next season, if thats ok with everyone else. He has done a great job ever since Bruce handed over the reigns and I think Bruce could not have picked a better man for the job :).

Hi Paul, welcome , Flattops Thursdays is centered around historic cars and tracks as much as possible , with the emphasis on Fun and Clean racing. I used to have a HR Premier , I rolled it over racing a mate of mine, I still remember hanging upside down in the seatbelt, totally disorientated, trying to work out how to get out of the car ;D ;D.
