okay AJ, what is your choice of tracks and do you want to do sprints or long?

I think Alfa vs Lancia might be a possibility....at Modena?

Modena sounds like a good idea, I think the idea is that we stick to the same cars though. As it's a fun run maybe we do a couple of sprints rather than a long one, unless people would prefer more practice in longer races.

I had thought we could test cars as well?

Modena: http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/autodromo-di-modena.5346/

If we're OK to go with the different cars then I reckon Gratulin's suggestion is a good one. The Alfa GTA and the Lancia Fulvia HF http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/lancia-fulvia-1-6-hf.9317/

As much as I love the little Alfa, I think it's going to get absolutely munched. According to a little bit of testing I did, the Lancia is ~15 seconds faster around Bathurst...

EDIT: Disregard that, for some reason the game was choking for framerates when I ran that and seems to have messed big time with the lap times

I did a the fun night with the arse group. I drove the alfa, and  The frame rate suffered a bit around the Lancia and the sound dropped our around the Lancia.
They were 2 second faster at mills too against the alfa

I can't drive the Alfa at all. Bad stuttering. I get a solid 60fps in the Lancia but 25-28fps in the Alfa. Not that I would have chosen it against the Lancia... ;)

Did some practice offline without the Lancia and whilst I'm 3s slower the Alfa is damn fun to play with....

both are fantastic fun cars and should be okay together.., but if foresee tears! I think we need a backup plan.

A: as we planned
B: change the track to see if that is part of the combo problem
C: change the car selection
D: change track too
Thoughts AJ?

Barbagallo would be easier to learn "on the night". Modena takes some learning.

Barbagallo is a great track....and it's aussie..... ;D

Unfortunately doesn't fix the fps issue.
