I want to have a couple more fun runs before the next season starts, to give people time to get back from holidays and what not. What would you guys like to run?
- An ACC enduro, say 1 hour, with pit stops and more chance of rain?
- Tatuus FA01 at Nordschleife?
- A TCR practice race?
-
equal parts options 1 or 2 - rain and changing conditions in ACC is very good fun :) especially at night.....

Ditto that. Trying to figure out when and if to pit for wets and trying to anticipate what pressures to use is stressful fun. Could simulate 12 hrs at Spa...
-
Keen to race acc with you guys +1 for the endurance

I would have to say no to this, only because the bloody thing won't load. >:(

I just posted about an incoming ACC fix which might address your problem.

Endurance . . . 8)

ACC was a bit meh for me. While I got used to the distorted side monitors a little bit it did give me a headache after a while. The night racing part was cool but I was loosing some serious frames when other cars were around. I guess I'll need to play with graphics settings.
I'd rather do a practice night for the next season.
-
•Tatuus FA01 anywhere or a practice night, but I really don't mind what we do
-
Well since we just had an ACC race, I might put up Tatuus @ Nordschleife.
-
yay the one track I don't know and cant learn from impatience

You said anywhere ;D :P

It's really not that hard. Just think, after a few more races there you'll know the track even better 8)

Here you go Phil.

My vote is the lonely one for TCR at a short track for some close racing, even though it's already been decided.
We've done the Tatuus @ nords before, but I'm happy with anything.
-
We'll do some TCR run the following week.
-
Alright, final offer: Tatuus @ Melbourne.

I have 2 versions of Albert Pk in track folder... the one we used Thursday and one from ACU.
Might need a link to the one that's on the server, as CM saying track missing. Cheers Wally. Dave O.

Thanks Dave. Track link added to first post.
-
Pretty sure the link you put up is the Albert Pk track we used last Thursday Wally, which I already have.
When I try to join server track name is saying Melbourne not Albert Pk? Cheers Dave O.
-
I have just updated the server to akv8_albert_park and restarted it, if that's incorrect sorry wally
-
Thanks Phil. I had both a Melbourne and an Albert Park.
-
Here's a high downforce setup.
It's the most efficient aero, you bleed off more d/f than drag the lower you go.
-
Thx Dave :)
-
Set felt nice thanks
-
Server's up (just using the practice server).
-
Adjusted, lower d/f set.

After a few shaky starts in race 1, the racing got better and better as we got used to the cars. Still, the easiest way to pass someone was if they spun in front of you.
-
Great cars really enjoyed them. Easy to drive but tricky to drive fast as when they let go not much can be done.
-
Yep, good fun. They were a bloody handful for the last couple of laps on worm tyres. The grip went down to 40 % which was a bit unrealistic but made it interesting through the fast chicane.
Hard tyres lost temperature a few laps in so were not a great option.
-
Short bit of testing they seemed pretty bland but actual racing was interesting. Cut the grass too much and spun a few times, I left because I had to get up early this morning.
