Thursday Nights fun racing / Weird problem with mouse
« on: March 28, 2020, 06:50:59 PM »
I have this weird problem with my mouse. It works ok until I enter the track screen(where it shows the car in the pits and you have the option to drive, adjust car etc) but the mouse pointer doesn't show. I can move the mouse around until the icon I want lights up and then click on it, but the mouse icon just doesn't show up. Any ideas on how to fix it?
Update, does the same thing with rFactor2, might try updating mouse drivers.

Really liked this one, enjoyed it as much as the Mazda MX5, and I LOVE that one.
Got heaps of 5 star reviews.

Assetto Corsa / Triple screen confusion
« on: January 12, 2018, 07:29:33 PM »
Ever since I went to triple screens I seem to be well off the pace and have difficulty even keeping it on the track, both in AC and rF2.
Was just playing around with it and discovered I can turn off Triple Screen in AC and Multiscreen in rF2 and yet I still get all 3 screens being used.
Not only that but the cars seem much easier to drive. I am guessing this has something to do with the fov.
I assume they still use all 3 screens because I have the screen resolution to 5760x1080, but why then do these sims have this option of Triple Screen and Multiscreen and what is the difference?

Assetto Corsa / Away for a while
« on: May 28, 2016, 05:32:43 PM »
Going on a long holiday to UK and Europe, leaving Monday and back on July13th.
Then 2 weeks after I get back have a wrist operation so not sure how long that will keep me off the wheel.
Should be able to get a couple of Thursday nights in between though
Think I am going to have some serious withdrawal symptoms. See ya when I get back.

Hardware & Reviews / Dual video cards
« on: May 30, 2014, 02:20:56 PM »
Just bought another 7950 vid card to put in crossfire with my existing card.
Do I just plug it in and turn PC on and it will sort itself out or there other drivers etc I have to do to get it working?
