I've the fanatec basic pedal, whatever it's called and tbh even that beats the old A1 - and it came free with the wheel (the combo deal has exactly the discount that's the price of the pedals) shame about the fanatec support though, for two weeks now I'm waiting for the RMA process to be started on the wheel, which was DOA. The pedals are nice, though.

Well, if you have any problems, you can always reinstall it. I suggest a clean reinstall, if you need to do it.

I've an idea; buy a cog-less (i.e. belt driven) wheel  The fanatec porsche wheel is pretty silent - and smooth - apart from the fan noise. I've ordered a new one, though, with the free pedals, and the wheel came broken. Still waiting for the RMA process to start... The pedals are pretty good, though, I've replaced my sorely aging A1's. So, yeah, while it's a pretty cheap option ( $250 all up, see the 2nd combo here) the product manufacturing quality and the support does not seem to be up to the level one would expect...

You can shut it down, restart in safe mode, uninstall the old drivers, and reinstall the new one.
If a driver install goes wrong, all you get is a very low resolution windows built-in driver, that's all. Happened to me a few times.
Oh, and depending on the driver and your computer it shall be done in a minute to a few minutes. I'd say 5 min tops.

one thing though; do you have to use the base 458 fezza at Imola, or can you use the L3? (first challenge) Edit; nevermind, standard must be used I've a problem, though. I've got all 10 times, but only 8 are counted - laps that I've previously put in (and pretty darn good ones) don't count  If any of you guys have a rego on RSR, can you pls post this for me? (I can't register it says "email address invalid" for a perfectly working email, plus my eyes are watering trying to solve their captcha images, so I gave it up) I've got all 10 times set on pro for the "All around" rank here:

I've worked hard for those times, so I'd not like to delete them, that's not an acceptable solution for me. They were set on pro, so they should count in my opinion.
