G27 Button mapping hint
« on: July 23, 2016, 09:36:47 AM »
I came across this post in the AC forums

http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/all-those-sf15-t-configuration-options.34489/

It shows how to configure a button as a SHIFT key. This allows you to assign the new TC+, TC- etc commands to your G27 buttons. You set it up in the Logitech Profiler. I've attached some screen shots on how I did it.

To switch to the "orange shifted commands" in the profiler just click on the POV1 text at the top of the right hand list of buttons.

Thanks, I think I noticed the post and thought it was a good idea. I didnt get around to looking at the profiler to figure out how but now youve shown a nice example. I hadnt driven the 2015 f1 much because I didnt want to waste buttons mapping things just for 1 car. Now with this method I can do that quite easily.

My fanatec gt2 has way too few buttons... I think I am giving up trying to match it. Rolz: how good is your wheel... from 1 to 10? :)

I have the CLUBSPORT STEERING WHEEL BMW M3 GT2 for normal cars and the CLUBSPORT STEERING WHEEL FORMULA BLACK  for GT and Formula type cars...

I am interested in seeing if I can find the same option in a Fanatec profiler to do this as I'l like to bind (Y/N) to keyboard as well as "Hi"
Traction control level I set and forget before I leave pit.

(BTW - Sorry about caps, was too lazy to type and just did copy/paste  :P)
