It's actually 1200 wide, but obviously there is a column down the left that takes up part of that space....

With too much ballast, the car is so different that I lose all that. And it gets less enjoyable.
Personally I have never felt ballast did much more than slow my lap times.  You might have to adjust your driving style a bit or make some setup changes but that's about it.  Like any car you just have to work with what you have got and give it a "red hot go" as a certain famous driver used to say!

Looks like Mael started 2nd and his second fastest qually lap was slower than mine.

Wally probably judged my lap to be of better quality  ;D

Race 1 was a disaster, I knew I took a slight change on passing Joe but it looked like there might have been a bit of space. As it turned out there wasn't. Pitted early to fix damaged but then threw away any hope of a decent point haul by spinning at T1. Noticed Wally did the same a few laps later so at least I were in good company.

Race 2 was a bit better, a solid start left me behind Phil and Nith, drove as hard as I could but they were at least .5 of a second faster. At about lap 10 Phil lapped a driver with Nith lining up to do the same. I got so engrossed in the action in front of me that I missed my brake marker and ran off the track. A lonely and error filled run to the end to finish a satisfied 3rd .

Thanks Freezer, the best team season finish yet! Next time we will get Grat & Wally.
Yes well done Mael. . . . if only I hadn't missed the first two rounds!!!

Up and down night for me.  Race one I almost did an Eddie the Eagle with the big crash but just got a snag and spun.  However given so many others spun I came out well and pushed on.  A mistake in putting on Soft tyres at the half way point I though would cost me but they hung on luckily.
Race 2 saw me weirdly starting in 17th and basically pushing so hard to make it up I had a few spins and cost myself to many spots. Not a great way to spend my 200th race  8)

Good season in the Praga though, enjoyed it and look forward to the next one

RACE RESULTS

(rest coming in instalments :) )

Wally, none of my qually laps were a cut, and my second fastest lap was 1:53:516 yet I started 10th in R2? I checked the second fastest laps for a few people that started in front of me and they were slower?
I will check...
Same here.  My best times were 1/10th apart yet I started 7th and 17th...?

and I see Maki Engineering have climbed up onto the teams podium . . :) :)

Don't get comfortable there. Keith was away this week due to Valentines day commitments but I think he will be back with a vengeance, and KNR Racing will stand on the team podium for sure  :P :P
Valentines Day . . . . you might have to ask, is Keith really there for the team...... :)

Up and down results but great racing tonight.
Qualified 6th and was gifted up to 4th in the first lap but shortly after was tagged by Kcender.  Small tap but enough to cost me 5 spots.
From there things got messy.  I was pretty quick but kept getting tangled in various situations and loosing spots.  By the end I was about 2nd last so not a great outcome.
R2 Again I was lucky to grab two spots on the first lap with people going off.  I was now behind my team mate Mael, who was chasing Kcender.  Sadly after a few laps Mael collected a spinning car which left me to chase Kcender.  After a couple of laps he pitted early (lap 5 I think) and I pushed on.  I ran to the end of lap 10 and grabbed tyres only to come out with the exact same gap again to Kcender (0.7).
After a few laps he had a small wide at T1 which allowed me to out brake him into T2 (my favourite corner all night).  He though was now on my tail.  I did stretch the gap a tiny bit a times but on the second last lap running a bit deep under brakes put him right on my tail and that's how we crossed the finish line.
2nd place for me is my best result for a while so makes up for R1.. :)

Any bonus points for a 100th Tuesday race?
Congratulations :) I keep meaning to look out for milestone races but forget.
196 for me . . . I suggest a timed head start!  :)

Not a bad nights racing for me.  I was pretty quick in practice but couldn't quite replicate it in qualy starting 8th.
I had a good chase with Simone for a number of laps before deciding to pit and hopefully jump him which turned out to be the case.
From there I led him for a number of laps before having a wide and letting a couple of cars through so ended up finishing 8th.
In race to I followed Wally until he had his spin which I almost ended up as part of it nicking his front spoiler with my rear left as I squeezed past.  I had a good battle with AB for much of the race.  We swapped spots a number of times until I finally managed to get in front of him and hold it to the end.
I did have a couple of small spins during the race but luckily not costing to much on each occasion.
Well done to Mael in R1 with 3rd, but obviously some bad luck in R2.

Well after some technical issues I arrived with about 6 minutes of qual to go but surprisingly managed to grab 7th.
R1: The big crash!  From my perspective the sight of flying cars up ahead means you lift off heavily (as I'm sure you would in real life).  However in doing so I was heavily rear ended no less than three times!!  Initially I thought the car would surely be stuffed but despite the smashed screen and broken wings I was still able to set decent times so I pushed on.  Managed to get home 9th with Wally chasing me down and passing in the dying laps.
R2:  Had a spin exiting turn 1 at the start of the second lap which put me down to 14th.  Not long after I found myself at the downhill double left handers with Seanus re entering and assuming the racing line right in front of me at half my speed.  I attempted to swing around the outside of him but clipped a big kerb which bounced me in the air and spun me.  From there dead last was not much fun....

Well done to team mate Mael for a good result!

Completely off pace and beyond at SPA.Historically i am not that fast but at SPA i am really not that good.I have to say that i spent some time in the garage with the settings and trying to elevate this car to higher standard but to no avail,,, :-X

In practice i even almost touched the 2.26 but during the race i never went into the 27s,,,,meh!!! Not to talk about my chronic lack of speed in the straights, incredible i have to really figuring out what was wrong. In the first race i think doob touched me and i ended hitting the guard rail and i think the car was a bit damage, but then in the second race the lack of speed was still there so i  really think my driving skills are fading away..... ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

The second race was not good at all,few mistakes and at this level i cant afford them, end of the story,Lucky to collect a 10th position, though,, ;D ;D

Good fun!!
Have you checked that your throttle pedal is actually reaching 100%? It might be a calibration issue.
Nah.... he's just not that fast . . :) :) :)

I had a terrible race 1 and decided I couldn't be arsed with race 2. :)
Ditto.
Well race 2 was a cracker . . . . maybe you should have hung around!

Well first night in these cars for me as I have been away.
Could hardly string a lap together in most of the practice but managed to get 11th I think in qualy which was fine.
R1: I got a good jump and was finding it pretty hectic as this was the first time I had been among other cars in the Praga.
About 4 laps in I was wondering how I would make it to the end.  Had my team mate close behind and decided to lift up the back straight to let him by as I was sure he was faster, and this proved to be the case.  Unfortunately at the stop (lap 11) I threw on soft's which whilst initially good were pretty sad by the end and I had a spin late in the race dropping a few spots.
R2: I was now starting to find my groove.  Racing was very close and hard fought with Wally, Nith, Simone etc.  For the most part I was able to hold it together and set consistent laps to get home 7th, so pretty happy.
As others mentioned, great cars these ones!!

Just jumped in again.  This time.
Saw the countdown and didn't roll forward.
Tyres and fuel received but had to use the AC selector for that???
The normal PitConfig app should operate just as usual after the countdown timer disappears.
Yes, but its not.  I am seeing the AC pit selector popping up.
The Pitconfig ap is on the screen, but seems to be being ignored.
