Hi Wally, can you could flick the practice server across to Castle Hill please?

Practice server is up with allocated cars.

after about 5 laps.
1:12.444

Going to say Castle Hill runs poorly compared to other modded tracks on my PC. I get the PCU warning a fair bit here.
At least it's only the PCU and not the CPU.

Not sure how old Dicks computer is but if his Photo Conductor Unit is having issues I think its time for that upgrade. It could also be his Primary care unit malfunctioning which seems more reasonable in this case and likely what he meant.

you're close.
my PCU or Partido Comunista del Uruguay
It's my Communist Party of Uruguay that I keep having trouble with.

 Down to a 1:10.03
I would have gotten even quicker if my 'peers' Marty and Guybrushy didn't keep wtf-dive-bombing down the inside of every corner.

Seems the handicap is working quite well was fun running some lap with Dick and Guy. Dick was more on pace and the 3 of us were fairly close. I was able to pass guy which doesnt happen all that often and dick was pressuring us both.

Dick still needs to understand how to race nice with others but I predict he will do better and so be involved in accidents further up the pack this round then just hitting those at the back of the pack like he normally does.  ;)

I'm in the 1:10s but realistic laptime is 1:11s in the Elise S2. I just lose the front-end. Need to learn over-steer driving style. Understeer washes off too much speed.

Wasn't that after one of his wheels came off?

I did sneak into the 1:08's but may need to pace myself a bit on the nite to avoid the hello kitty car at Silverstone  ;) as thats just a bit too slow there. It has more hope at this track but the long straights at the next round will give a fair advantage to the higher speed cars.

The last 3 rounds the elise will be struggling much more so anyone in a z4 there will be lucky to not be lapped.

My PB in the Elise is a 10 flat.

Don't forget that if the Elises end up being "too slow" people will automatically get faster cars.

I wouldnt mind an elise for the full season as its possible to get some pace out of it, just more of an issue with the z4 id rather avoid on any larger track.  ;)

I'm really starting to get used to the 240R step3. Can catch it a lot easier. I'm using its under-steer to my advantage.. I think I am anyway.
Like this: The right long handers, I think turns 3 & 4. I'm staying on the gas, turning in hard and the car keeps going forward, only slightly turning, I lift just a touch and the nose comes around nicely. Is that under-steer?
Again, after turn 1 through the 's's the last left out of the 's's I stay on the gas through the whole s's and under-steer out of that last left and if it exits good I should end along side the witches hats before that slow left.

ok so under-steer wears tyres and slows down top end speed?

Yeah, that's understeer, if your car's not turning but still going straight. I find the best cure is slower corner entry and look for better exit speed.
