I had a shocker of a night with an abundance of silly mistakes. I haven't done any laps at Oulton Park since Toca Touring Cars 3 so that didn't bode well and I think it shoed in my complete lack of consistency. Having a practice day of over 100 laps in the kart didn't help either. It seems to have hurt my sim racing since the feedback is just not the same.
I started race 1 in the middle of the pack with my steering 1 turn to the right. Doh!!!!!!! Got moving and was getting into a rhythm and managed to flip the car on it's side over the ripple strip. Came home last of the runners, I think. Keen not to repeat the mistake from race 1 I lined up for the start and ended up my steering being 1 turn to the left. <<Insert facepalm here>>> moved my way up the field and ended up 4th thanks to the mistakes of 3 cars in front on the final lap. Race 3 saw me start from pole and not much of an advantage when you cannot see the start lights . I made a bad start and plenty of silly little mistakes but managed to hold up Dave for the race thanks to my lack of ballast. Ended up having a ball and enjoyed the battle of race 3 immensly 125

I had a mixed night. I qualified the best I have so far and race 1 was great fun. I made a few small mistakes but knuckled down and got back on track.
It was all downhill in races 2 and 3. I seemed to struggle in traffic here more than usual but had a reasonable race 2. Race 3 was a shocker and made too many mistakes which meant I was working my way backwards through the field until I was clipped by an out of control car and got stuck in the sand. I doubt there was any intent and it looked pretty out of control from what I could see so just a racing incident. I don't think a penalty was really necessary here. Last week was a very different story but I'll leave it there. 126

Had good speed here (mostly due to low ballast) and I do like the sliperry conditions. Qual 3rd.
R1. Got tagged in turn one as I was probably a little over cautious. Made my way back to 4th and then buckled under pressure and looped it. Came home 6th, I think. R2. Got a good start and was lucky to get a good run ans someone went way off in front. Chased Dave for a few laps and had the speed down the back straight but yellow flags were out. With Wally closing up behind, I managed to barge past at the last chicane and pull a small gap while Dave and Wally battled. A couple laps later Dave was closing in again and I am sure if there was more laps, he'd have driven past. All things considered, I am very happy with my maiden win but disappointed in my really messy driving. Will have to work on having speed and tidy laps at Suzuka. 129

Sorry but I went for the Abarth. Low power + Low grip = good racing

I like this track but had not run this version of it yet. after a few laps and tweaks on my base setup, I had reasonable pace and pretty consistent too. Ended up qualifying second (thanks to those who couldn't make it) and got to see a race from the front of the grid.
I didn't have the pace to catch Wally in race 1 but was happy with my pace and consistency. Race 2 was great fun. I was slow in the opening 2 laps but settled into a rhythm and was slowly catching Wally as he was battling with the 2nd place car. On the second last lap Wally spun up the tyres which gave me a huge run on him down the back straight. I managed to make the pass but then gave the place back as I spun up the rears on the penultimate corner and couldn't hold my place into the last corner. All in all, I had a great night it was nice to have some clean track. I had my best night to date by far and can't wait for Montreal next week. 131

I was alongside on the outside and Tim moved over and tagged my front wheel. Doesn't matter, since I am not in the running for the series anyway. Just though the penalty was a bit rough

Had a fun night. Penalty for race one seems a bit stiff but I'll cop it . No penalty for who ever turned me around in race 2 either
Can't wait for next round. See you all there 133
