this was fun, trying out the lenovo vr online in ac for the first time. I need to tune the graphics settings a bit more because I could see I was getting dropped frames. I'm really liking the vr for fun races but the overall picture quality is not there for regular use imo. Immersion is quite intense though, it feels a lot easier to hit apexes and exits (may be similar with triples?) but I don't think it'll make me faster

I have been playing around with my Lenovo and have found by dropping the native resolution in AC setup to 1440x 1080 the FPS in WMR seems to improve, I too have not made up my mind. I thought a 1080 ti would give an ideal FPS.

What frame rate are you getting with the 1080ti? Should be plenty?

Haven't even checked the actual frame rate yet, in pc2 and ac it was smooth as silk (@ 2880*1440 and everything set to max or near max) playing single player grids of 19 and no weather. Online ac was different though and needs more tuning, although it could have been the mod cars and tracks. When I get chance I'll start checking the frame rates. You gotta try the Honda concept car around a street circuit in pc2, blow out lol. From what I'm seeing (online/youtube) that res needs to be set to 1920*1080, possible upscaling and fine tuning the rest of the settings depending on the game
