RACE RESULTSSEASON STATSPenaltiesRace 1 - Bacchulum ran into the back of Wally, penalty.
- Kcender ran into the back of Matthew, penalty.
Race 2 - DaveO drifted into the side of Seanus and sent himself spiralling through the air, but he then landed on top of Doobs, so I think that warrants a penalty, because Dave’s mistake had a big impact on Doobs.
Jeremy moved across the track before turn 2 and ran into the side of Shayne, penalty.- Slow_As hit the side of Bacchulum, but that was a 3 wide, unsighted collision, racing incident.
- Freezer hit the side of the slow Matthew. A messy sequence here, but Freezer could have backed off behind Slow_As. A lesser penalty of 15% restrictor.
- RussG ran into the back of Seanus, but Seanus was in the middle of a moment after being unsettled by the kerb, no penalty.

RACE RESULTSSEASON STATSPenaltiesRace 1 A tough one off the line – Slow_As was a bit slow, Doobs baulked a bit to avoid him, and Dave O ran into the back of Doobs. I think that was really just a racing incident, almost a penalty. Then again, Slow_As was slow on the inside of La Source (T1), and probably didn’t see Dave O appear from the left to make the corner which was congested. Again, a racing incident due to being unsighted. Race 2 Bacchulum ran into the back of KeRo, spinning him off the track, so gets a penalty. R3: Jun 13, Spa, 16 laps + 10 laps Off to Belgium. Weather Forecast (long range outlook is cold, 10 degrees and quite a strong SW wind). This means a pretty strong tailwind at the very fast turn 18, so you might lose a bit of downforce there. Conversely, quite strong downforce coming out of Pouhon at turn 12.

Imola was a practice run for the DRS rules. Here is the DRS app that will be mandatory for season 17. It prohibits the use of DRS unless you are 1 second behind the car in front at the detection point before the DRS zone starts. You can also only use DRS from lap 3 onwards. It will really spice up the DRS, because every car can't just always use it in a DRS zone. Download from this post, because it's preconfigured with XGN rules (I also took a little bit of chat spam out of it). Unzip it into your Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa folder. It's quite obvious and intuitive when you run the app. - When you're not in a DRS zone, the app is GREY.
- When you're in a DRZ zone but you're not allowed to use DRS, the app is RED.
- When you're within 1 second of the preceding car at the detection zone, the app goes GREEN, and then you can use DRS once you hear an audible beep which indicates the start of the DRS zone.
Bottom line: you can only activate DRS if you hear that beep. In practice and qualifying, you can use DRS any time in the DRS zone. The rules above only apply to the RACE session. The app can't actually stop you from using DRS, but it writes a penalty message to the log file, like the PLP app. I'll apply a 5 second post-race time penalty for every illegal DRS activation.

Silverstone 67 is very close to the layout used in the 1987 British Grand Prix. It only lacks one chicane prior to the final corner.
2 x 17 lap races with a qually session prior to both races.
Tyre blankets are ON.

We will be trying the Lotus 25 and the Lotus 49, at Rouen-Les-Essarts, a period-correct race track that held 4 French Grand Prix formula 1 races between 1952 and 1968. This will be a bit of a test of this mod track as well as the cars.
