I have a laptop that will be my Guinea pig. Why do they want us on 10 so badly... Makes me sceptical
Easier to support one OS only - but they also want to keep the wheels rolling, get new versions out, etc.
But with this version there's two things that seem fishy
1) free upgrade from win 7/8 - it goes into the face of their business model
2) they say it's the last version - if I believe that, then MS is essentially cutting a major(?) revenue stream. Or they'll have to charge for updates at some point.
But to answer your question; not unless/until I have to.
- New os=new bugs and thanks but I don't want to be a free tester.
- Also new os=new headaches. I've set my win7 up the way I like, I don't want to learn a new one just now. Plenty of other stuff to do.
- Also; some programs refuse to work even on win8 as my business partner has found out recently. I can't even start to think what it'll be like to switch to 10....
