Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S22R2: French Grand Prix at Paul Ricard« on: May 15, 2018, 05:20:36 AM »I will try tomorrow using my phone for data, not sure how it will go as I live in a place where mobile reception is crap, But I have been getting pings and speeds at least as good as my normal nbn internet and sometimes a bit better, but it does not seem as stable and anything that happens on my pc in the background causes big lag and have been getting random ping hikes, so be sure to let me know if I am warping aboutI heard an ad on the radio yesterday, telstra have an nbn modem that has a back up mobile connection built-in, might be worth hitting them up for freebie if your main connection is still down. 587

I've recently been getting my head around spacetime curvature causing gravity and this is a really good demonstration of the concepts. Are you looking to install a flux capacitor into your sim rig? 588

A great event, the track is pretty good with these cars. One stop soft/soft +31l fuel (started with about 85). Had three spins on my own losing positions in process, tyres were pretty shagged by the end. Ran out of fuel on the second last turn. Very happy with a top ten finish even though results could have been a bit better without the dramas I had. Big thanks to Phil for sharing the tyrrell team set.

Something was a bit off even though I had averaged around 100fps it felt choppy (constant not stutters) I checked the graph in msi afterburner after the race and my cpu usage was 35%avg. and gpu only 55%avg. Check all my graphics settings were all maxed and ran the ac benchmark from cm, everything back to normal 125+fps, cpu usage 15%avg, gpu usage 99%. Either an app or the mod cars causing higher cpu usage and bottlenecking the gpu.

Assetto Corsa / Re: Massive Ping Delays« on: May 05, 2018, 11:39:32 PM »Hey lads, Bit late but... http://www.resplendence.com/latencymon could help you find the problem, a rouge driver or piece of software conflicting one another or with windows (or vice versa), update your drivers particularly audio/network, update windows, update your software and try not to use (if possible) software that tries to control everything like corsair link, asus (pretty much everything lol), nzxt cam, rgb software and many more. These programs tend to conflict with one another, try to use only one if you really need it and usually you can get away with disabling them from start up in task manager (open them when you need them, or just uninstall them). Also sometimes multiple types of system monitoring programs will do it too, try using one that monitors everything (hwinfo64) instead of multiple independent programs. Good luck, hope you get back on the track 594

Maybe with more practice but not sure if the risk is worth it at the moment. 598
Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S22 Sign Up - Formula 1 1975« on: May 03, 2018, 08:17:35 AM »I don't really remember driving that one, I didn't drive it long and probably didn't even attempt a set up. My post was just to say that they're all fairly similar and with some time put in to testing and set up everyone should get reasonably stable and fast. You know when you pick one, then always question it the rest of the time lol. I'm also not saying go get the tyrrell, mainly to say from my testing, avoid the fittipaldi (although someone could make something of it).I thought I'd post my lap times and thoughts for anyone that hasn't done much testing. I've only tested these because I wanted to drive something that most others wouldn't eg. Lotus. Out of those tested the Tyrell feels to be one of the more stable cars (for me) followed by Williams and Shadow. Fittipaldi one of the worst, the others were ok but need some tuning. Not fast times but still fairly close and with more testing and tuning I might get to shave another .5 off (and still be a good 2 seconds off Phil and Kcender). Any way I hope it helps people that aren't that keen on these cars all together. To be honest, I just randomly jumped in the Surtees and thought it felt OK to drive. I couldn't be arsed testing so many different cars. 599
