Which actually went pretty well until Bradc took a nibble out of my rear wing Well lag might explain it, I was already accelerating out of the corner when I got quite a hard knock from the rear. Thought it was a bit strange. 258

Tough night
Race one forgot to load the correct setup after messing about in quali. That meant race 2 was going to be a back-row start. Which actually went pretty well until Bradc took a nibble out of my rear wing Race three everyone except Killa and Joe were kind enough to run off track 259

I thought you were letting me through by taking that wide entry My only regret of the night was not getting a sub 18 lap. Got close a number of times, were on a quick lap that was going to be well below 1:18 in the third race but in my excitement I touched the grass on the last corner. After a long trip in 1st gear along the wall checking for Killa and Bradc I accepted Joe probably had the pure pace on this track. But not the win It was a good one for Maki Engineering, we almost made the magic 1,2 in all three races. 260

Not a big fan of the car (said again for posterity) but I will admit it makes for good racing. Maybe we should do a race at the RING in honour of AB's laps?
And Seanus should do some work on Oran Park for us, think it would be a great track if the curbs does not continually try to kill the car! 261

Wanted to be disparaging of the track, the graphics sucks and no track surface texture. However it such a good combo with the car. Technical twisty with decent straights, and have to be careful with the tyres. Tyre management is qoing to be essential.

Interesting & fun racing, it was almost impossible to pass without the front driver making a mistake. Luckily mistakes was very common!

I think it would have been very difficult to pass here otherwise despite being faster through some sections. I SAY REVERSE GRID TOP 5 Not a great night. So-so quali meant race 1 was spend dealing with Phil, Race 2 stuck behind Killer who I assume ran into damage problems? and Race 3 we don't talk about. My team mate did not do much better either 267

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S32 Car Poll« on: February 26, 2020, 06:43:01 PM »Fixed setups advantage those drivers for whom the setup just happens to feel comfortable, and disadvantage others. It's like asking sprinters to all wear the same shoe size. or ask all sprinters to go barefoot Fixed setups takes away the advantage of those who are rich enough to afford shoes (decadent bolsheviks), i.e. those that can afford to employ engineers to do the setups. 269

I did like the suggestion of a fixed setup with the gp3 cars, would stop Joe from cheating

Here it is: http://xgn.com.au/index.php?topic=1910.0 ahhh DRS. That explain why I cannot match you and Phil's top speed. Spend an hour testing low wing settings but still could not match the 278kph |
