Hardware & Reviews / Re: Fanatec direct drive in the making?« on: August 19, 2018, 05:14:59 PM »
From the email;
We’ve tried to make participation as simple as possible. Firstly, you’ll need to log into your Fanatec account on our site. When the auction system is up and running, you’ll see an ‘Enter Auction Page’ button on the DD1 product page, which will take you to a secure bidding area that is hosted on Amazon’s servers and has been thoroughly tested for stability. After that, you can click to bid as many times as you wish. Each click automatically increases the price by a fixed increment of 10 AUD. After every new bid is placed, a 90-second timer will reset. If there are no new bids after the timer reaches zero, the auction will complete, and the winner will receive payment instructions via email. After this, a new auction will begin immediately at 1 AUD. Auction units are limited to one per customer. Auctions will continue to run, one at a time, until further notice. The system will prevent bids from going above the retail price. We will also ensure that several units are sold under 1500 AUD, and you’ll be able to see the previous winning bid values. This will guarantee that many customers will secure a pre-order well below the retail price. These units genuinely have no reserve, so bid carefully! I'll be on night shift so I'll probably miss it, but If I get chance I was thinking to try between 500-1000 527

Had the flu for the last few days so not in the best condition for it...
R1, lost control a couple of times losing positions in the process, major side ways slide into turn 1 and I got in the way of Able, we kept on but he returned the favour later on the last banked turn and I was not sure which way to go, we both wrecked, escape to pits 300 sec wait race over lol R2, made a few minor tweaks to the car and it settled a bit but lost it again at the bus stop this time and went down order. R3, a few more tweaks, the car was much better, no big mistakes and came home in the top ten. Good racing with you all, sorry for the wreck Able 531

Awesome track, will be great to race some good cars on it though.
R1 got caught up in a bingle with Shayne and Killa, thought I'd made it through the gap but got tapped by one as they'd rolled back onto the track. R2 on Jeremy's tail for most of the race and got real close a few times when he'd make a little mistake but I didn't have enough give it shot at a pass, set my PB R3 following Phil for a bit, set my PB again but couldn't keep up lol Had a good night, and racing was fun here on a new (to me) track. Thanks guys 533

Yeah I figured IER may be too modern, but suggested anyways because it is cool and probably never get a run on Tuesday because it's a mod.

You could try adding a bit of dram and or soc voltage, or drop the frequency a bit if over the default 2133. I've only put one ryzen system together and it was just a little budget quad core set-up for a young fella. There is a lot of info over at overclock.net forums in the amd section. 539

A good season, cool cars. Lancia didn't like the extra weight and my tyres were cooking up in the last race, also the night shift fatigue kicked in 10min into it. Was good fun though and thanks everyone for the good racing, sorry for my mistakes

Lancia please, I'll be coming off night shift so no time to test. Hope it's a decent car for this track.
