In qually I was around 7th with 7 mins to go and thought the time was okay so went for a drink and came back to 12th...

Race 1 I spun early touching the grass and coming across the track into someone. I think it was just one car but not sure who. Possibly Gratulin as he left the server right after. Sorry to whoever it was. Was in the last place and made up a few places.

Race 2 wasn't much better. I spun off all on my own one time and possibly rejoined right in Dave O's path. I was checking behind and it looked clear but not sure. Also had a few bumps with cars in front braking early or taking corners slower than I would catching me off guard.

Race 3 I had 34% restrictor but was actually my best race with lots of close racing and overtakes and finishing 8th. Highlight being the side-by-side action with Mael all the way through Hislop's and Druid's with me somehow coming out ahead then he and Grat coming together soon after taking the pressure off.

Does anyone have a replay of the second race, I'd like to see my two wheel action on the 11th lap not too far after the back straight.

R1. Bad start, had ventured out onto the grass after turn 1 and came flying back across the circuit into turn 2. Only just clipped someone, had there not been another incident in front of me I think I would have taken a few out. Qualifying was average, about 11th managed stay around that position. Also I think I tapped bacchulum later on causing him to tap Jamie? Off, very sorry for that one. Good close racing otherwise.
R2. One of the best races I've had, a bit of restriction and kcender was all over the rear end, really good close racing, position swaps and finished about 4th. Side by side with Seanus on lap 11? ended up bouncing off a ripple strip and travelling on two wheels for a bit, probably felt worse than it was but I'd like to see it in the replay.
R3. Good close racing again with a few, really bad start on the grass again and lost a heap of spots, made killa work for the position lol, and close racing with phil toward the end but he was slowed down by a yellow beemer and I gave him a tap...sorry. The incident with killa and Wally happened right in front of me and I saw that killa had tyres on the grass right before it happened.
A few mistakes but good rubbing paint with you guys

If it was before corner 2 it was me, set the tone for the round!  Had a blast battling from the back in race 2 and 3 but my own mistakes cost me dearly. There was also some questionable defending along the way, think Dave got the worst of it.

So sorry, Mael! Really sorry.

No worries Grat, I will be a mobile roadblock in front of you in the next round to repay you  ;D.

Hi Wally: just to clarify what I meant earlier on. Look at me and Matthew. We were doing basically the same until our unfortunate contact in race 1. I got "lucky" and he got "unlucky." As a result, I got some good points in race 1, but had to fight in race 2 and 3, and got 65 points out of that roulette. Instead, he got very few points out of race 1, but started race 2 first and got 70 points. (Looking at Phil's results gives a similar idea... it's just really tough and you need quite some luck to do well in races 2 and 3 if you finish in the podium in race 1).

Of course, none of us is going to really do it (be last in the first race on purpose). I think we are all way too good sports for something like that. As for me: I enjoy race 1 so much more that I can't handle the idea of missing a result on that one. But I think it would be a pretty good strategy to arrive last on the first race on purpose. If you are a fast car, the chances of getting an amazing result in races 2 and 3 are huge.

Love the track!  Hard to master, but once you get it going its good fun.  And yes, there was a number of places to pass . . :)

Race one was clean and steady. I grabbed two spots climbing to 6th.
Race two felt a bit like a demo derby.  I didn't actually go off but certainly had plenty of rear and door banging!
Race three . . . Wally had a loose under brakes into the hairpin and shot across in front of me. I subsequently bounced off into the wall
and had a busted screen and hard right hand down wheel.  Not to mention being last!  From there it was just trying to get it home.

Race two could have seen some cleaner moves but all up a pretty good night.

1st race is easy, got stuck behind godzilla for the whole race...no real chance to overtake.
Race 2 and 3 were a bit messy so I've got a bit of a list to go through.
First my apologies to Rob. Rob, you were braking quite a bit earlier than I expected, but anyway, that thing was 100% my fault. The accident with Russg was a weird one. I watched it many times from different perspectives. I knew you were there on my right and I wanted to leave you space, but we did have some minor contacts which resulted in some oversteer with me and then it escalated in you losing control and going off. Russ, you were pulling more and more to the right/centre of the track although I was still there. Maybe that was not deliberately and just a result of our contacts. It was unfortunate...I actually wanted to let you go.
Now Wally, you took an odd line there at that left hand turn and that slowed you down quite a bit. I thought that would give me a chance to go through the inside at the hair pin as I had a lot of access speed, but then that gap suddenly closed and that caught me by surprise. I had to brake and that got me off track with my left wheels and I lost control a bit which caused the contact.
At that point I thought it wasn't my mistake, but now, after watching the replay a few times, I should have braked earlier and see how you went in order to avoid collision.
On the other hand I was able to go faster and I saw an opportunity...and they are rare on this track...sorry it turned out for you this way.
It was an action packed race for me. So, fun on the one hand, but unfortunate in regard to the incidents...yeah, and a bit frustrating not being able to go as fast as I was able to...but that's what racing is like sometimes, isn't it?
Cheers

Prety much what happened to me in round one, taken out in the first race to finish 17th I think bit then win race 2.

Speaking of race 2, this round was defenitly much harder, narrow track and nowhere to go. Spent the first few laps in the 1:40-41’s. Hopefully truxton should be a bit wider

Race 2 - Mael ran into the back of Keith at the hairpin - 50kg penalty ballast for the next round.

That's not fair, I only assisted Keith through the corner which gained him a couple of positions  ;D

Yeah that's understandable. I wasn't even thinking about braking early, just going for my normal marker and didn't consider that maybe braking early would be wise with many cars in front of me... Sorry ab.

Hi killa,
I too have watched the replay from all angles and I don't find it weird. By the way, I was on your left, not your right.
You made the mistake at the fast right hander which gave me the run out of the turn. You squeezed me all the way which is fine, but then at the left hander, I was actually in front and I had my left wheels on the white line when you hit me the first time. That's when I started moving right - because you hit me. Happy to post replays if necessary.
I'm happy to leave it there. I did pull out of race 3 after that incident ( I think it's the first time I pulled out of an XGN race), not because of this incident, but only because I found myself a distant last like race 2 when Godzilla nailed me from behind. I just didn't feel like hotlapping again as I can do that anytime :)

I had good pace here and was hoping for a fun night, but it didn't work out, and hey "that's motor racing".
Some days you're the pigeon,
Some days you're the statue ...
