Also beautifully executed (only criticism I have is the perspex windshield is too darkly tinted)

The simulator can be yours for only $104,500. It even supports AC.
Now to convince the wife...
I think it is odd that only the seat moves not the steering wheel :o

Good bag of races again with plenty of close racing. This series has been interesting in that the same setup has not worked at every track. I thought the race format was good. Gentrack should be fun.

Sorry Guys couldn't make it as Steam decided to screw up my Assetto corsa installation, giving an error about
encrypted content. The usual things have achieved nothing.
Hopefully sorted by next week.

good luck sorting it out
If the usual fixes do not work you can backup your local files and uninstall and reinstall AC and restore your local files.

With the race format , would people prefer 2x18 lap races done the normal way, i.e second one reverse grid OR 4x 9 laps with part 2 a reverse grid, so like 9 laps sprint then 1 min break then reverse grid and the 5 min break and do it again ?

If any of that makes sense :)

I am easy either way
4 x 9 using the automatic reverse grid could be fun Phil  :)

I am determined to do a 1m9s before the first race starts on Thursday, not far to go with a best time of 1:10.096  >:( >:(

.... It has got me fired up to do another  series in these cars, ...
....This is what I really love about simracing...

I was thinking we could do the '66 Can Am series every year. We have several variants of the Lola and the M1b/Elva as well as the Chaparral 2E now. (which except for a few outliers is all the cars that ran that season.)
And now that I have sorted out the bumps on the 66 version of Laguna we have a full set of almost period correct tracks.
That is a great idea Seanus, if we could get a few more of the Tuesday  lady drivers  to come along a get grids of 20+ to get closer to real life grids of 30+, it would be amazing  8).
Comments anyone?

I would like to watch it Bacchulum. It really was the pinnacle of Sports Car racing like the turbo era was the pinnacle of F1. They were crazy cars and the drivers and spectators just loved them.

I watched this great doco today, what a fascinating era of motor sport. 0 to 200 MPH 10, seconds. Faster than the F1 cars of the same year (no wonder we all found them a bit of a handfull) . It has got me fired up to do another  series in these cars, and we now have good versions of Laguna Seca plus some of other tracks. I think there is some other Grp 7 cars also available now as well. The  top F1 drivers really enjoyed driving these cars as well as the F1 cars. Thanks Bacchulum I really enjoyed it :) 8).

This is what I really love about simracing, being able to relive these motorsport historic milestones 8) 8) 8)
