Anyone using a ButtKicker or an alternative Bass Rumbler?

I'm trying to find the YouTube video I found where you can have transducers at 4 points on the cockpit to simulate the wheels on the track...

When I find it I'll share... not quiet the hydraulic solution, but should help knowing more on where the car it on the road or losing traction?

been thinking of getting one for my new rig.

I haven't had a chance to look into it further, but will do this weekend...

I knew I should have at least written down the name of the kit where you can focus sounds to devices to avoid the whole one rattle for all.

After some reading I have learnt that the amps that come with buttkicker are not very good and only run 1 BK.  From what understand it is a better option to buy an amp and add these or what ever sort you want http://www.pagnianimports.com.au/buttkicker-products/buttkicker-mini-lfe.html

or the following will run 2 BK and is probably the better option if you wanted to run 4 as you can just buy 1 amp and 1 vBK to start off with, initial cost is a little mote that the BK sim kit and more the BK gamer2 but in the long run is cheaper if you wanted to add more than 1

Ok update on my side...

bought 4 transducers... cheaper than butt-kicker and supposedly 2nd best in market... in any case a good see how it all works.

Will have to get some sort of mounting brackets for the transducers, build a box for the amp and psu...

Than a 2nd sound card - only splashed out on a USB sound card - once again see how the concept works.

Parts are on order... will let you know what it's like when I get the bits and hopefully put it together correctly

Rolz, go get the simvibe software it's the best software you can buy from simexperience site. The transducsers are one thing but with the software they now read the game data and the bumps are super accurate and the feeling is greatly enhanced it's a must have if you have transducers.

Well another update

Got the bass transducers in on Friday but not the amp, but it didn't deter me from mounting them on the chassis.



Took one trip to Bunnings and one trip to my parents place to raid the shed for strips of wood and an old bicycle tire inner tube.
The wood helped mount it and the rubber helped make sure I wasn't going to get any metal vibrations if it wasn't tight enough.

Sunday I got too impatient so I bought an old amp off Gumtree for $100 and then hooked it all up. 



For AC as the drivers are still in beta I get awesome engine noise, but not much else. 

I tried LFS since that was also supported and that was very cool... impacts are great, gear changes feel cool, but as it' also has limited sensors I don't get the wheels sensation. I see iRacing does so I might have to download that and give it ago.

Overall it has some serious potential, but feels underdone... will report back if they improve AC support...

Wow.  That puts my 20 year old wooden desk, single monitor, and office chair to shame.

How much do you think the whole rig has cost?  Or not if you don't want to say.
