I should be back for this one armed with a new PC to rectify some major framerate issues. Can't wait to be back on track

Hi all,
I made a setup for Valencia, it is based on Arne Kraebbenhoeft "bier prato 4" available on wagenvoort.net/rank
Maybe it will have to be modified for use under heavy ballast, because I tried to lower the car height as much as possible, due to the flatness and to the absence of bumps of the Valencia track road.
A tip: I wouldn't trust the distance panels.. it seems to me that many of the 50m signs are really too near to the turns to be real: I brake around 110m almost everywhere, and use the 50m sign to start turning the steering wheel (more or less, don't take it literally).
Have fun!

mod to the setup: I improved a bit (2:30.6 for now) with lower tyre pressures than in this set. 18.8 front, 18.2 rear
np Wally :)

Man, a lap around here feels like it takes half an hour.

Server is up with ballast for practice. With 181 kg onboard, I've done a 2:42.9.

Ahem... remember Justin? He finished the last season with 315 kg.

I'm down to 2:39.3 now. Here's my setup for 181 kg.

Cutting Rules

There are big run off areas here. For simplicity's sake, keep at least two wheels inside the white lines everywhere. Or, as the FIA states it for F1:

Quote
Drivers must use the track at all times. For the avoidance of doubt the white lines defining the track edges are considered to be part of the track but the kerbs are not.
A driver will be judged to have left the track if no part of the car remains in contact with the track.
Should a car leave the track the driver may rejoin, however, this may only be done when it is safe to do so and without gaining any advantage.
A driver may not deliberately leave the track without justifiable reason.

I may have used the curbs as 'track' in that rank time, but I think I've done a comparible clean lap.
Towards the end of the lap there's plenty of room to run wide and gain time, so that should be noted.

Then I'd wanna get quicker if I'm going to beat that!
(but aren't we on 70% ballast after 6 races now?)

Anyway, here's my 240kg set:
[EDIT]
you're not allowed try it Wally! :P

Yeah, the change in ballast is 70% of what it normally would have been, so you're right - you would have had more.

I promise I won't try your set. Maybe.
