Oops sorry, didn't really look to see if deals were any good. I got f1 2019 with my formula wheel, tried it a couple times and it's shite

Enjoying this series, sequential shifter heel and toe, not as necessary as I first thought but adds to the immersion and realism lol. Not putting too much pressure on myself helps me to be a little more consistent even though still a fair bit off front runner pace.
R1. Starting from the back so to not unintentionally upset potential champs and just get out there and have fun. Traffic was a bit tuff at first and gave AB1 or Able a tap on the rear, no incident but got a little damage, sorry for that. Some major stutters occurring for me which stopped in the next race after closing FANALAB Software, I was using only for added light effects on the wheel (traction, pit, flags), needs optimisation I guess. Caught up with Wally only to go off on the last turn looking at the dash, checking to see if was the last lap.
R2. Excellent race AGK on my tail the whole time and getting on the tail of a couple others was awesome, caught up with Phil but had no chance of passing.
Good fun, curb hopping and sliding around thanks guys.

Had some really good racing there, starting from the back with a focus of looking after the ss tyres and not upsetting anyone I really enjoyed myself, felt like a supercars driver lol. Applying plenty pressure seemed to make a few crack and vice versa but luckily no major spins for me, some side by side with a few too, one good one with DaveO was a stand out. I just used Bacchulums set and didn't worry about any of that either, very good. Thanks guys

The new 9th gen cpus are soldered under ihs, no more pigeon poo lol, so better heat transfer (although the 9900k still stuggles at max oc because of the power it uses). Only need minimal paste since its only there to fill the micro scratches in the connecting surfaces, obviously too little can impair performance if not getting full coverage. I did a repaste on my old xbox one yesterday because the fan kept kicking in to full speed, what a pita that was, much better now. (xbox is only a media pc these days...don't you judge me lol). Have you tried manual voltages, some boards will over do it a bit, also what ram did you get?

All good with the new build, stable OC at 5.2 Mhz, with my tower air cooler ( ASUS AI overclock, not a manual OC, great mobo :) :) ). Can run with 23 AI cars and maintain 90fps at back of grid in VR ,at a resolution of 2900x2900 per eye. Had to format my HD :'( :'( , cloned disk would not boot, and then got error    "windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks."  when I attempted Win 10 install.  This took a while to fix :'(. thanks for the internet.
Anyway I am extremly happy with the result ;) thanks to all those who steered me in the right direction.

I reckon you got a good one there

I got my new Fanatec pots the other day, and like GzeroD suggested I'm going to try to seal them a bit more to keep dust out.
What do you have in mind, my pedals are collecting dust and would like to protect them

This was a good combo, isn't there an alfa in the same class maybe a bmw too? Had some good racing but also got totally wiped out a couple of times.

Oh rito, only tried the falcon and driving it without heel and toe sent me into a spin almost every time lol. Fun to drive.

Need to use clutch with heel and toe on down shift even with sequential or these cars spin, bacc ford setup feels good

Bit rough but a working prototype I designed myself, got the idea from amstudio, his designs are behind a patreon paywall.
Anyone tried the new FANALAB Software, it's pretty cool but the v345 driver it needs wouldn't allow mapping of the sequential shifter to paddles, reloaded older drivers and and it's working again.

I'm off for a couple of weeks so I might be able join the next few races, I won't qualify and start at the back so to stay out of the way.

Memory is a bit slower but with tighter timings ...
Funny thing there;  I remember reading an article & test a few years ago, where they've compared RAM modules.  Back then their conclusion was the ram "Speed" (the frequency) was of lesser importance for the performance, the timing was a much greater factor.   I wonder if this is still true, though.

We all know RGB is the most important factor. The girls love it.
First you get the RGB, then you get the power and then you get the women
