I have DLC not tried merc yet but happy to run it if better than the bmw which does seem to have a disadvantage unless in the hands of the top guys.

I'm confused (doesn't take much). I tried the merc loved it on gp ring track...feels very fast can brake later than in the x bow feels nicer tighter and the kph speeds are good down the straight..it feels like something's wrong with the physics when I'm braking later getting similar speeds and can set the gear ratios better in the mercedes...so why the hell am I nearly 5 seconds a lap faster in the x bow...makes no sense to me at all...offline 2.15.4 x bow 2.20.1 mercedes...gutted cos I love touring cars....

Well, I reckon it's a winner then... I'll add the Merc 190 to the mix, which means you will need the DLC to participate in the season.

I put a post in the other thread, but I really don't mind sitting out a season of AC till I get the DLC later.
I think it would be pretty unfair to expect everyone else to miss out just because I'm a bit of a tight arse.

I didn't realise the price was going up when it became a full release, so I'll wait till a 1/2 price special hopefully
over Easter, if not then I will be out of AC for a fair while.

Yeah I think it's a bargain!! I actually waited because I wanted to donate more for this excellent game. I thought the original game was too cheap, especially when you compare it to iracing... (never goin back!!)

I think they ruined the BMW DTM I did some quick laps in both cars around imola and nurburgring and these were the times

Nurb
merc 2:11:8
BMW 2:13:6

Imola
merc 1:54:7
BMW 1:56:2

Now a few months back I managed a 1:54:8 at imola in the BMW so they have obviously changed something with that car in a update and its not as good to drive, its almost like its on different tyres to the merc and it feels very rigid and edgy now.

I managed a 2.11.5 on a different server in the merc at nurb it's head and shoulders above the bmw...love the sound too....still a difficult decision on car tho as ktm not a lot slower......I found 5 seconds a lap after realising my g27 was buggered lol
