Nah you're not a long way off at all Bruce. It's xbox, ps4 and PC. Battlefield 1 is the new one, they've just called it 1 because it's gone back to WW1 stylee

Should just set up a domain with 0 TTL so it can be changed immediately if needs be. That's what I do with http://ac.yeahyou.com/ and I have it running on port 80 so I don't need to remember the port.

I'm happy just to use it if you upload it

The baby has been unwell so I did think he'd prob wake up but did hope for more than 3 or 4 laps.

A shame as it looked to be a good race. Qualified 3rd, but after the server reset I started in 15th, I got back to 7th by the time I had to leave, and  with with the top 5 having to pit it could have been a good result. Ah well, at least with zero points I definately won't be in the top 5 for next week either  ;D

Cant join server, says something about Server Authority failed, need a minority rating of AB

Sounds like marty doesnt have you on his minorating whitelist. He'll need to add your guid.

Championship order is following for tonights pit stoppers.
Its an enduro night. I thought was sprint but wrong

Bacchulum
Mael
XGN- Guybrush Threepwood
Phil.8
Gratulin
gawaterman

So enduro was 2 drivethroughs?

I have no idea how quick I am in comparison as ptracker wasn't working last night, but I think I had a low 1:27

what seems simple on paper, proved to be a little harder to learn in V reality.  I had entered remembering the rFactor version, opps, thanks to rooshooter's setup it was a little easier getting 'some' laps in, but need to do a lot more, time permitting before race time.

This is true; while learning it yesterday on that long right handler (which is nearly a straight), I overcooked it spun across the grass, over the hedge and flipped the car into the trees. The game then chucked me back in the pits...

Looking forward to tonight. Should be fun! The long 'straights' should give some good passing opportunities and probably some big spins also.

Happy to run stracker on a separate VPS for you.. pretty sure you can host stracker separately just by changing the IP for the plugin...
is that easy, is all I have to do is change the ip address in the server config ?

I think so, would have to investigate it properly...

Cheers Marty!!
I believe stracker needs access to config folder so needs to run on same machine. Unless something has changed in later releases.

I think since it became a UDP plugin it doesn't have that requirement. Could be wrong.

Thursday Nights fun racing / Re: Track / Car Testing

I love the Cobra, would be happy to do another season in it. Much tougher to drive than the M3 though I assume.

Should be that easy. Just need firewall ports opened.

Fun night. I decided to go for 2 stops for fuel and tyres, so worked out the fuel for around 11.5 laps just in case I got damage.

Qualified 8th and a few laps in got a run on Jeremy and went down the inside into T1, locked up a little and took up a little more track than I intended, but that was the only pass I made the whole race. A few laps later he made a similar pass but maybe more a divebomb as he gave the place back? I did see him appear real quick on helicorsa so gave room.

Getting towards lap 20 Jeremy was right on my tail for a few laps then he pitted. I still have enough fuel for 4 laps and a decent gap infront so I stayed out for 3 laps to try and avoid the undercut. I wast tempted to just go for fuel second stop, but I hadn't tried a long run with the tyres and had visions of struggling my way to the end losing places, so I thought better of it.

After my second stop I came out into traffic and had 7 laps close racing for the first time of the night. I can't remember the order of how things happened but at one point Jeremy got on my tail but spun, I gave the inside of that damn first lesbo a love tap which I'd done a few times in practice which let Mael past me, then Phil got past after I messed up an exit. I think it was Russ who was infront of Phil who on lap 19 out-braked himself into T1 allowing Phil and I to get another place each.

Started in 8th, finished in 8th so not too shabby.

It's always good to give a lesbo a love tap.

ya see what i did there  ;)
