I'm never disappointed racing this car.

I'd done around 10 laps to learn the track in the afternoon the missed practise and r1 so decided to start mid pack for the 2nd race.

Got lucky in the first lap making quite a few passes as people went wide. Was then in 3rd behind seanus and aj. Aj went wide after a few laps and I got by then had a good battle with seanus trying to figure out the best place to pass as he was consistent.

I was getting a better run onto the main straight and braking quite a lot later for turn one so waited for my chance and took the inside line to pass.

Maybe one for gb.

Fanatec are discontinuing their CSR pedals and selling  then at 50% off so only 70 bucks. Seems good value.

Yeah said baby currently screaming and preventing me joining at all. Rather have the ballast... may make race 2 if it's sprints

Due to all my baby related retirements looks like I just missed out on ballast  8)

I didn't qualify too well but managed to avoid all the carnage at the start and got away. I was behind Seanus and Nith for a couple of laps until Seanus had a DC and ploughed off the track. Was then behind Nith for a while who was perhaps drunk as he was sliding all over the place. Eventually he went wide and I went though and built up quite a gap. Pitted after lap 9 and had 5-6 seconds gap to Jeremy and Keith who were fighting away behind me. With the warm tyres and the grip starting to pick up I got a bit confident and spun all on my own on that long right hander near the start of the lap. Fortunately was able to turn around and get into the next corner just before Jeremy. Keith and Jeremy continued to battle which allowed me to pull ahead and finish in 5th.

R2 I started a bit slow and lost a few places, then started to pick up the pace and spent most of the race on the back of the Jeremy, Keith, Freezer train but not really getting much involved. With 5 or 6 laps to go Mael caught up and put some pressure on me but managed to keep it together and came in 8th.

Loving my new pedals. I can brake later and control the braking with trail braking so much easier.

Nith, maybe calm down the rolling start lap. You almost hit Mael a few times and I didn't want to get anywhere near you.

There is a lot of additional noise coming through teamspeak recently, and without being shy it's coming from Shameless. Understand your situation mate, and how difficult it must be racing with a joystick, but any chance of having push-to-talk would be good as your mic picks up a lot.

It shouldn't be as the mic sensitivity is down. But if it's still coming through I'll test it next time and lower it more, if it's still coming through I'll try a joystick button for push to talk, it should technically work from the joystick I think.

Could be worth doing. Didn't wanna sound insensitive if there was a reason you couldn't use push to talk, but if you have a spare button on the joystick you can just set it up in teamspeak.

Thursday Nights fun racing / Re: Request for cadwell video please

I passed gw on the last lap only to put myself into the wall a short while later. I passed a few others in the laps before that too. And of course my crash at the start...

Bad luck Bruce. On the plus side I had a quick look at the replay and the driver names on the cars look great  ;D

Sorry for the tap early on wally and the carnage that followed.. such a narrow track and tried to defend a bit too hard. From 3rd down to second last.

Good fun after that though battling with shameless for 10-12 laps both of us getting by people making mistakes. I had the pace but couldn't find a safe way by. Eventually he let me by which he didnt have to.

After that I made quite a few passes including a very heavy phil to get myself into 5th only to get airborn going too quickly through those fast s's at the end of the last lap and headlong into the wall which cost me 3 places.

Great track though. Intense and lots of fun.

Getting over my bout of gastro so just ran a few laps to learn the track. Will aim to be there tonight if I can as it looks to be a lot of fun.
