Well done to wally and Humper on the race wins

Big congrats to Wally on taking out the Thursday night Championship with Bird and Humper coming in 2nd and 3rd.

Wally gets to print out this amazing trophy, if he desires, and put on his wall or anywhere he feels fit :)

Thankyou to everyone who showed up, I hope you had some fun along the way.
Wallys post reminded me I forgot to thanks rooshooter who I like to think of as chief tester and keeper of the law and who's opinion I value a lot, and to seanus for making it possible with the cars :)

Big Thankyou to Bruce Rook, who you all will know passed away on Saturday for organising this season and the previous season and most seasons and the ones he did not organise he had a huge input into them with making the forum posts all organised with download links, dates, laps, pictures and everything, It will not be the same around here without Bruce and I will miss him.

Thanks Bruce.

Good close racing with humper and Joe in the second race as my second wind kicked in. Had a shocker first race and couldn't keep it together after the usual night shift jet lag feeling. Thanks to Bruce and Phil for an excellent season and to everyone else for the fun racing.

Congrats Wally and thanks Phil and Bruce. Felt quite emotional driving tonight knowing Bruce had put this all together.

Almost didn't make it; thanks for the restart. Race 1 ended up being my practice and I didn't have enough fuel. Race 2 had a missed gear give up two places early on then a great race with Rob close on my tail. Got pushed off the track on the last lap, but looking at the replay I didn't show on Seanus' helicorsa for some reason so he probably didn't know I was there.

LOL, thanks for the magnificent trophy Phil :D
Thanks to everyone who put this together - Phil, rooshooter, Seanus and of course Bruce.
The Pantera is an absolute joy to drive, and made the wins easier (that, and Phil and Bacchulum starting from the rear). It's a shame Bird wasn't there tonight, but Dave O still pushed me all the way in race 1.
In race 2 I had quite a time of passing Imperious, showing him my nose a few times until I could make a couple of hectic side-by-side turns stick with Phil in hot pursuit. A little later I snuck past the outside of Mael, giving his door a little knock on the way past. Then the Nissan oceans parted on the final lap and I was able to dodge them wide and carry enough speed to keep the 3rd spot.

This was one of my favourite Thursday seasons, with so much excellent, close racing.

I use 'Car Radar' and I knew you where there. Sorry about the bump and run in the corner previous but then I got the two taps that sent me off track and I thought I must have missed judged it and squeezed you off the track. But I was Wrong. In so much as each others replay can be trusted I left you more a than metre of track to play with.

Great driving Wally and a deserved Championship. Sorry for the bump but I saw you behind me and judged you were too far behind to make a move so only concentrated on the upcoming apex. Was quite a shock to suddenly have you alongside stealing my paint. You obviously had much better brakes than the cardboard cutouts the corvette uses.

Was a good season, Bruce chose well.

Im not sure what you mean i was driving in a straight line and you veered left into me twice the second time pushing me off. Hadnt even got to the turn in point.

Congratulations Wally and Humper on the race wins, sorry I balked you in the second race DaveO you may have got into third place in the championship otherwise, can you see Helicorsa with VR? Well done Wally on the championship win and a great cup to go with it ;D. Another great night of racing with my favourite AC mod. Thanks Phil , Seanus and especially Bruce for a great selection of tracks (some of which I probably would not have selected) they all provided great racing, it won't be the same without him.

It was no drama - it was good door-to-door racing, playing chicken into the corner :)

:) It's cool though, it was just a racing incident, we were both at fault, me for playing hardball and trying to make you use all the track and yourself for playing hard ball and refusing to let me move you sideways. I just took umbrage at being blamed for ,albeit passively,  the incident. :'(
