One trick to a fast time on this track, is to turn the back 3 corners into one big loop, with just a lift off to control the speed, just look at Bacchulums  ptracker speed graph.

Actually, I think the large discrepancy in our graph comparison is the left-right before, rooshooter. :-\
(4th gear, no brakes, just lifting)

Thanks Bacchulum, I had not worked out exactly which part of the track that large speed difference was occuring, still does not give me the skill to emulate though :'(

I'm easy with any duration. The only thing to watch out for is that in a smaller field, the cars tend to get quite spread out in longer races.

Not so sure that would have qualified as "fun run", sweat was running at the end of the race. The cobra plus bumpy track makes for hard work, so may areas that require a light tough on the throttle.

Finally got some pace in the last few laps, as if something just clicked and the car started flowing around the corners, should have hanged in there Viper  ;D  But Wally had this one easily in the bag, faultless and quick, nice driving.

(ps, your result links are busted Phil)

A good night of racing and change to an enduro. Congratulations to Wally, Mael and Imp with Humper a very close 4th. It was an off night for me :'(( but they don't happen very often) and I still enjoyed the race :). Bad luck Bacchulum , you made some very rare mistakes. I think you and Phil are a bit hard on yourselves with the handicapping sometimes :(. I thought it was funny how nearly everyone commented on how hard this track was at the start and set very fast times by qualifying. I am looking forward to Castle Hill.

It just felt good around here, being gentle on the throttle, upshifting early when exiting corners, entering the hairpins very slowly.

Sorry about the lap 1 wobble in front of you Seanus. It almost turned into a baby tankslapper there.
