Title: Round 4 Luccaring Street Circuit 0.5 Pre-race chat...
Post by: Bruce on February 23, 2015, 02:25:29 PM: Well having a quick look at he current laps times on the practice server, I need to do a lot more laps here at Luccaring Street Circuit... I think I either need to get more 'cyber nerve' or close my eyes on some of the turns!

Yes you need this for Thursday's Mini Race, Round 4.

no car download... the mod still doesn't have "a car other than RED" options :)

I think I've repeatedly given it too much throttle under braking (I need a little to make sure the fronts don't just lock up dead). The weird thing is that it only happened on that single corner.

may have been sabotage, a little oil on the track?
certainly looked silly parked between the parking sign and the barriers, looked as if you had a prime spectating spot.

It was fun, I was surprised how relaxed I was after having the keyboard issues picking up a 3rd. Race 2 I changed my setup to yours BIrd and had the same trouble at the odd corner, understeering into the odd barrier.
Two high points beside a third place: Wally's leap into the moat and my avoidance of Fabbi!

Post by: Bafs17 on February 27, 2015, 08:51:56 PM: Had so much fun in race one battling against Bird. So close at the end but happy I could compete against someone as fast.

Race two was a bit frustrating. An unfortunate racing incident with Bird meant I was playing catch up. However, just started to make more and mistakes rather than just driving smooth. Probably still developing my race craft over longer periods :-[. Glad Bruce managed to avoid me but GW sure couldn't dodge one of my mistakes. Sorry about that.

All up it was a great night and that track, while tricky, is a fun one to drive.

Bird I hope you took my karma crack as a joke because there was no malice intended. :D
