Sorry to anyone I had contact with in R3, I should have skipped it like slideways as my pain killers had me a bit slow witted by then.  Marty, I didn't really have a choice but to defend the inside line at the end of R2 as you were outside of me from the last corner.  And the 'mugging' was fair, I didn't see you behind the other car and closed the door on you.

We've also never had a season in the Countach, RUF or GT40, or many other current cars.The Jap Pack is just interesting because it's the newest thing. The possibilities are endless...
We've also never run a season in the Lotus 25, 49, 72 or 98T, just single races.

I have my reservations The last time I bought an nVidia card that 'replaced 2 cards' the drivers stopped supporting it after 6 months and it was no longer compatible with games after 9. Guess I'm 'once bitten, twice shy'.

What gear are you guys using for the last corner? It's got me buggered. 3rd bogs down but it's immediately on the rev limiter in 2nd. I need that 2.5 gear again.

Of course we do not have this problem in racing cars that if anything lift more than forcing down, like the GT86. that is why it is easy to follow close in these.
Exactly. Slipstreaming reduces aero forces (both drag and lift (F1 cars produce negative lift)). As these cars produce positive lift you actually gain grip by following close.
