Ok Bruce and Rob, I'll leave you on the grids but move you to the back.

Hi Wally can you move me to the back also? I'm forced to drive with paddles at the moment which is slowing me down  :(  Might help to avoid any disasters.

Best of luck Bruce

Come on, I drive with paddles all the time  8)

Surely you can use the baby room :)

The baby is still in our room! 3 bedroom apartment, but 3 kids and the girls have their own rooms at the moment. Only 'space' is in the living room which is pretty big and we don't have that much furniture.

Well after a comment from Phil to say I should look at triple monitors before a wheel upgrade, but me saying I dont have a desk or the space, I found myself marking out a 1.5m by 1m area in the living room with masking tape for my wife to review. Watch this space! 8)

Ebay are having one of their 20% off sales again. Makes the 1070 tempting. 20% off the displayed price.

Well that was loads of fun. Was pushing the car too hard at the start of practice which really slows it down. Found earlier gentle progressive braking and slowing enough that I didn't loose traction was the key. As fun as they are to drift, it's not quick. Even had to be careful with the throttle not to nail it too quickly. A little bit like the Cobra in that way, but nowhere near as delicate.

I think I got 5th, 4th and what would have been 2nd if the baby didn't wake on the final lap. He was alseep next to me and suddenly sat upright so I had to bail off and get him before he fell off the sofa  ;D

Hey Phil and Bruce.

No worries. I updated my forum name just now. I'll aim to get on tonight but I'll be on after 9:30 most likely.

Ger the track downloaded earlier if you can. Took a while for me.

I still came off every couple of laps. There is that long right hander that suddenly tightens up, almost like a second turn, and I kept missing it and going over the grass where there is a sign.

I'm happy either way. I ran a few laps last night and kinda got the hang of it.

How does it go with driver names? We could maybe record our own.

Does it support driver names with AC? Haven't tried it myself yet. Will have a browse through the source when I get a chance.

The only turn off so far was "ok its hammer time". If I can't find a way to disable that one it might be a deal breaker. Yes, I do dislike Hamilton that much.

Are the audio files just assets that can be replaced? Maybe we can make our own XGN ones? Things like 'Watch out, Gratulin's about to come inside you'.

Edit: Just found the sourcecode so could recompile with new audio files even if they aren't assets. https://github.com/mrbelowski/CrewChiefV4
