Not so sure that would have qualified as "fun run", sweat was running at the end of the race. The cobra plus bumpy track makes for hard work, so may areas that require a light tough on the throttle.

Finally got some pace in the last few laps, as if something just clicked and the car started flowing around the corners, should have hanged in there Viper  ;D  But Wally had this one easily in the bag, faultless and quick, nice driving.

(ps, your result links are busted Phil)

Wally's watching a different replay to the one I see.

lol Its very rare to disagree with Wally  but I'll go Russ. Its all very slight touches, nothing on purpose but majority of error still belongs to Godzilla.

And apologies to Dadio, I made a bad error taking him out into the first chicane during race 2, 100% my fault  :'(

I know we suppose to keep two wheels inside the white line but what if there are no white line, only a yellow one? Can we then use all of the curb  ???

Watched the replay a heap of times now, was hard and at times very close racing, unfortunate it ended the way it did as would have been an epic battle

yeah it was not a "burn at the stake" event, and admittedly on that track almost very overtake were always going to have some risk. Going to be fun watching you managing risks as the season goes on since you right up there with a chance to win the season... cannot afford not to finish Godzilla  ;D

Looked like the orange car had enough overlap that the white one should have left some room

Disagree, contact was made behind the white cars rear wheel, thus orange was not far enough alongside to have a right to the apex in my opinion,

Really struggled with getting the setup right. The uneven track played havoc with whatever setup I tried, the fact that other cars did not appear to struggle so much was extremely frustrating. Was so bad that trying to follow other drivers in race would see me go offroading.

Race two was probably my best Thursday drive yet, no mistakes and good consistency in a evil car to finish just in front of a fast gaining Bueller.  Even managed to break into the 25's and then on the final lap the 24's!

Try to remember, Godzilla, everyone has different braking points (hence why some people are faster than others).
Just because you don't brake there, doesn't mean no-one does. ;)

Different braking points I get, but braking where there’s no braking is dangerous.

Just shows how bad my setup was  ;D Had to brake to avoid going straight on!

Showing as server running unavailable content

Looks like it was updated today!

Hi Wally: my parents in law are visiting and we'll be taking a trip to NZ, so I'll miss this race and the next one. Sorry.

Ah finally I'll finish the race without contact  ;D

In seriousness, enjoy NZ, always wanted to visit the land of the long white cloud.

Lesson learned, do not earn Wally's wrath. The bag of cement loaded in my BMW killed any chance of a good result  :'(
You're saying it wrong. It should be "Lesson learned, do not run into the back of anyone on the opening lap" :)

No no no  ;D  the lesson is; DON'T GET CAUGHT!

Lesson learned, do not earn Wally's wrath. The bag of cement loaded in my BMW killed any chance of a good result  :'(   Overall had some good battles, had some great passes put on me (Grat & Jamie).

And thanks Seanus for waiting on me after our contact, an unfortunate incident which I blame on Wally for being so slow ahead of me  :)  But it is always good to see a driver redress if they cause an accident.

Also noteworthy is the choice of track if looking to attract a large number of drivers, mod-tracks never attract as many drivers as standard AC tracks.

Avoidable but it does happen when the following driver tries to get a run out of the corner to setup a pass on the next corner, so forgivable (like Bird I've done this often enough I'm sad to admit). Should the orange driver have pulled over and give the position back?

I always thought a sim wheel that gives you an excruciating pain when you have an accident or make contact would be cool for realism

Maybe attached an electric cattle prob to the chair?  ;D
