Still does! Also things like adjustable mirrors, split times as you pass timing point...You would flick a marble up the side with a spring, like a pinball machine, and the first player to get all their cars to the bottom won.cool

I didn't really enjoy these cars. Too hard, too much throttle control needed. Give me a car where I can just mash the throttleYep, I'm 100% with you on the traction control thing. It was a great battle there at the end. It was my intention to leave you a gap at that left hand turn as I knew you were very close. Watched the video, but couldn't see if it was enough...maybe not quite...sorry.

Thanks wally for another good season i found these car surprisingly fun to drive, h pattern, reasonable grip and move around nicely pretty fun challenge
Was cool to see how kcenders sauber and my long tail performed throughout the season, achieving their pace very differently but still able to have such close races for most tracks, no different here i was able to keep up with kcender in the first stint and i felt as it went on the LT was better on the tyres and i could close the gap to kcender before he pitted. Once again the pit stops kill the LT and i was 10 sec behind after the stop so once again stint 2 i play the hunter lol, as the fuel load lightens the LT comes good and i turn the boost up a bit at times and im able to close the gap by the end but i didnt have enough fuel to challenge kcender for the lead so no extra boost so 2nd i stayed crossing the line with 0.1 of fuel haha finally calculated my stops right. Good race good fun all season
This was as close as I got, 5th birthday present, complete with Can-Am cars.
Pfffft. ScreensOh yeah, I remember sitting in a carboard box, "racing" with my friends, does that count?

Yeah my first was Indianapolis500 on Amiga that got me hooked I think. Decent driving model and awesome damage!
I think it had pit stops, even. It was very comprehensive, very lifelike.
I mean I've played 'racing' games, including a very simple one on a programmable calculator of all things, but I do not class those as simulators.
I find even classing the C64 TD in that category, although it's getting there. I believe there was some ZX Spectrum game similarly simplistic but first person racing - still, it did not stick with me.
Edit: oh yeah, this one, the "Checkquered Flag" : http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0000912
Having said all that, the real hook was LFS - online racing is so much more fun than lapping alone!
Funny that LFS still had a better interface & community features then, than AC now. Huh.
Test drive, commodore 64...with a joystick lol

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's not a sim from where I sit.
How does it go, though? This game wasn't available in Europe .
