Is the ideal tyre pressure dynamic in some way? When I first joined nurb practice server in the porsche lmp1 I did a few laps and adjusted pressures as recommended, left, upon returning I loaded my saved set up and now the app recommends more pressure. I didn't look at the values to begin with but to add a few psi the first time and then it recommend I add a few more psi next time seems a little odd...unless it's a time of day thing? Also noticed something similar at spa and didn't think much of it, but my race times were quite slow and the car didn't feel right (probably just fuel load)

I don't think they're dynamic in any way. You can set up the server to start with different temperatures, but I don't think the practice server is set up that way. The wind has some variation in it though, so that might affect top speed etc, depending on its direction.

I even think different grip levels affect the ideal pressure.
More grip generates less heat, therefore a lower start pressure (and vice versa).

So the track quality is dynamic?

On race night it is but I just remembered on the practice server it's a constant 100%. :-\

Though in the past Wally has from time to time changes the weather on the practise server to match real world weather. That kind of change will mean the start pressures would be different.

True Joe, but currently the practice weather is the race weather. The only variability is a slight change in wind speed and direction (a bit of randomness on each session change).

I've gotta keep an eye on it, I think my ideal pressure is changing, also some cars at some tracks will have all four tyres at different "ideal" pressures. Maybe it's normal and I never noticed it before
