Supra is 8000 I think. What got me thinking about this was really the recent change to the Race Essentials HUD where the rpm bar went red at peak power.  That seemed a little simplistic, so I started reading.

I don't really expect anyone to get a significant advantage from this, but it's better to shift optimally than not if you have the choice. Plus... this stuff is interesting.

Wow Wally, you must really like doing this stuff.

It will be great to see the final result. Anything that will help me go even a little bit faster is welcome.

I do like the theory behind car dynamics. If I was connected to motorsport in real life, I'd probably be an engineer rather than a driver.

I'd be the billionaire team owner in trouble with the law but lives on a giant yacht with 10 playboy model wives.  We would dance and swim and shower each other.  Then we would keep ourselves warm out on the deck by burning $100 notes.  Oh it would be marvellous.

OK, final answer. This now takes into account the actual AC physics files for engine torque, the rev limiter, as well as the effects of the turbo(s) if present.

Supra
1 = 6800
2 = 6800
3 = 6320
4 = 6170
5 = 6200

Skyline
1 = 8000
2 = 8000
3 = 7490
4 = 7700
5 = 7390

RX-7
1 = 8300
2 = 8300
3 = 8300
4 = 8190

Nissan 370z
1 = 7500
2 = 7500
3 = 7500
4 = 7500
5 = 7500
